What is your earliest memory connected to music?

 – I grew up in a musical family.  My parents would always play music and sing.  I become fond of listening that I wanted to be part of it.  My father taught me the basics on guitar and I was off….

How did your passion for creating music begin?

 – As previously mentioned, my family’s love of music was the start.  However, I started creating music because I got bored playing other people’s music.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

 – I’ve wanted to release “Good To See You” for the longest time.  Once, I began collaborating with Katie Shorey, I thought she’d be perfect to front the song.  She did an amazing job with the vocals.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

 – “Good To See You” is very Pop.  I have influences in music from pretty much all eras and it’s not that I intentionally try to aim for genre…I just let the song drive.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

 – I struggled with this one….a sacrifice doesn’t mean you have to stop what you love doing….it might slow you down, but it deepens the passion and I’m enjoying that.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

 – In the studio, we recorded on Logic and used Reason for Midi’s and Percussion.  I took it home and finished it with Live.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

 – I don’t have a particular Indie artist that I’m into, but I’ve been enjoying the likes of Jon Bryant, Joywave, Cannons, Milky Chance and others along those lines.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

 – Ha….most of my music is all my personal experiences….or more so, my personal emotions during these experiences….it’s the emotion that sings the words.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

 – With “Good To See You”, I hope people realize the importance of a personal connection to/with someone.  Romantic or Plutonic, the benefits of that connection is what’s truly important.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

 – Ha….Patience!!…but it’s deepened my love for it.  I wouldn’t trade what I have learned for anything.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

 – Anywhere outside!…perferrably an ampitheater….I love good acoustics!
