What is your earliest memory connected to music?

My dad, teaching me guitar at 6

How did your passion for creating music begin?

My dad played guitar to me every night as I fell asleep when I was a toddler

What’s the story behind your current music project?

We started after the fall out of another band, we were looking at going back to our roots of hard and fast punk and hardcore music and it took off from there

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

Like taking a chainsaw to a beehive for 30 seconds

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

If you want to be in the big leagues – It’s who you know, not what you create

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

My guitar and my computer

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

I’ve been listening to a tonne of Extortion recently!

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Our experience of living in a country run by capitalist pigs definitely molds our music and lyrics. The anger seethes in the music and boils over into the music.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

Revolt!

 What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Don’t hyperfocus on the nitty gritty. Find the love and go with that. Once you have the love, all the hard stuff/work becomes a passion, not a chore.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Probably This is Hardcore festival!

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Personally for me it would be Deftones! Why? Not really a concrete answer, but because I have a lot of respect for their music and think we’re almost the opposite in terms of genres within the heavy/alt scene. So to combine it, would definitely be awesome!

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

We would really like to reach more parts of the world. We’ve toured Aus/Japan/Korea/Indonesia but would love to see Europe!

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

That we’re real AF. We live what we preach and hold no bars.
