What is your earliest memory connected to music?
Hearing Born to Run for the first time. That song and album changed my life and made me want to pick up a guitar and write songs.
How did your passion for creating music begin?
Music saved my life. It was something that was in my soul and when I heard great music I felt I had to do it too.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
Recently I had been in a relationship that had slowly dissolved and this is that story. I think everyone can relate to it.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
Acoustic and ethereal with sweet harmonies.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
It is easy to use too much strings. We have recently switched to lead guitar instead of the strings we use to use. I think it’s more relatable.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
I am old school. My creative process is still my guitar, paper and my favorite pen. A lot of times songs will start to come out when I first sit down with the guitar.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
John Mayers’ song Assasin
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
It’s a direct connection. I can only write about what I know. When you listen to someones’ music it is autobiographical.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
I hope they feel the beauty and the depth of life and that we are all here to learn how to love better.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
That it’s an endless journey. We are never done learning.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
Coachella
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Bruce Springsteen. He was my childhood hero and the reason I picked up a guitar

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?
I am working with a sync license professional. I would love to get a song into a movie soundtrack.

That we all come from the same place, we just have different journeys
