How did your passion for creating music begin?
It started in 2015. Music gave me chills, the real kind where the hair on your arms stands up, and I knew I wanted to feel that chemistry my whole life and make other people feel it too. That year I could finally afford my first gear, and YouTube taught me everything: composition, production, songwriting. The only thing it couldn’t teach me was my artistic direction. That part is personal.

What’s the story behind your current music project?
My album 11:11 Dimensions of Tamara is a journey through the different dimensions of who I am, with clouds, electric blue and the number 11:11 as the threads running through it. Right now I’m releasing the music video for ELECTRIC SERENITY, which premieres on YouTube on October 16. Every video I make opens the same way : you enter my head while I’m asleep in the clouds, and you discover the dream.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
Experimental trap with an R&B soul, made to be watched as much as heard. Think heavy 808s and dreamy atmospheres, like a movie playing inside your head. My rule is simple : I want to be where nobody expects me.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
A few years ago, all my project files were on one USB drive. One day it just died, and every session and every track was gone. Luckily I had saved my finished songs on Dropbox, so the music survived. Since that day: no more USB drives, and I back up everywhere. You never know !

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
I started on GarageBand on an iPhone 5, with no headphones and a cracked screen. Then I bought FL Studio and spent years practicing on it, before moving to GarageBand on my Mac. Today I use both. I record my vocals on a Blue Yeti, and I direct and edit my own videos, using Higgsfield for the AI-generated scenes and CapCut for the edit. Proof you don’t need a studio to start, just the urge to make something.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
JPEGMAFIA. He does everything his own way, from the beats to the visuals, and his music sounds like nobody else’s. The song on repeat right now is “Bully” by Kanye West and CeeLo Green.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
I’m Swiss and Haitian, born in Lausanne. Funny thing : I originally wanted to make electro and DJ at Tomorrowland. Avicii is the one who lit that fire. I ended up exploring other sounds, but that electronic DNA never left. You can hear it in my production, and it’s the whole spirit of Dreamer in the Clouds. Tomorrowland is still a little fantasy of mine, honestly.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
The chills, first. That moment when a song physically hits you. Beyond that, I want people to feel that it’s okay to be a dreamer, and that your imagination is a place you’re allowed to live in. That’s why my tag says it out loud : “You’re a dreamer.”

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Making it is one thing. Lasting is harder. Music taught me to build for the long run, protect my work, keep learning, and stay patient with my own process.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
This might sound strange, but my dream is to shut down the whole city of Lausanne for one concert. I want to play all over the world, but I’ll never forget where it all started. That show would be my tribute. And Tomorrowland, someday, for the kid who wanted to be a DJ.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Travis Scott, Kanye West and Rihanna. Travis is the artist I listen to the most and the one who inspires me the most : the way he builds a whole world around his music is exactly what I’m working toward. Kanye, because he’s experimental to the core and fearless. He does what he wants, when he wants, and he’s never been afraid to be himself, because he can’t be anyone else. I recognize myself in that 100%. He’s always been ahead of his time, and creatively, that’s the kind of impact I want to have. And Rihanna, for the same reason : her charisma, her attitude. She’s unapologetic. She can be really dark and deeply feminine at the same time, and I love both sides. As a woman, I have the right to be both at once, and she proves it every day. And as a Swiss artist with Haitian roots, seeing her own the world means a lot to me.

That I’m impossible to put in one box, and that it’s not random. Stick around and you’ll see what I come up with next.
