What is your earliest memory connected to music?

Donát: I remember being 3–4 years old, listening to U2 at home with headphones—the Pop album. Also, when I was 4, my favorite song was “Turista” by Európa Kiadó.

Zoé: My mom told me to put on the new david guetta album on the family ipod, started with electronic music i guess.

Zsozsi: I remember listening to the Beatles at the ages of 4, 5, and 6, and I got the MCR Black Parade album from a friend for my 11th or 12th birthday. Around the same time, I first saw the clip for “Wonderwall” by Oasis — very underrated btw (no).

How did your passion for creating music begin?

Donát: I don’t know, I don’t remember—it’s always been there.

Dani: I never thought I will be making music until I started this project. Since then it’s my greatest passion

Zoé: The first time i heard electronic music i wanted to become a dj, when then led me to learning music, i started with guitar and piano in elementary school

Zsozsi: I played so much Guitar Hero that I started to wonder: why not do this in real life?

What’s the story behind your current music project?

Donát: It all started in 2021. Dani had some demos, and those became our early materials. We always wanted to make shoegaze—at first it wasn’t quite that, but over the years the band found its own shoegaze sound.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

Donát: Loud and sad.

Megyó: mcdonalds sprite

Zoé: dynamic, noisy and soft

Zsozsi: Very sad and angry and disappointed, but there’s hope (maybe).

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Donát: Put the fuzz at the end of the effects chain! And four-note chords!

Dani: There isn’t something that completely changed it, it’s an evolution that is changing all the time.
Megyó: Less is more.

Zoé: trusting your ears

Zsozsi: Listening to others.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Donát: Silence, solitude, and Ableton.

Dani: We usually sit down together in front of Ableton, where everyone’s idea unfolds

Zoé: a space where i can be loud

Zsozsi: I only need my 4-track cassette recorder and someone to tell me that what I’m doing is bearable, at least.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Donát: Neighbours Burning Neighbours – Always Winning

Dani: I’m a big sucker for female fronted shoegaze. Just to name a few: she’s green, Softcult, julie, Slowcrush and in hungary: dazzled
Megyó: 16 éves cigánylányok a távolsági buszon (thats the name of the artist)!

Zoé: Abriction – Streetlights

Zsozsi: Some shoegaze bands i discovered recently: Cigarettes for breakfast, Mascara, Never easy, US Golf 95, Summer of Hate. Also I am deeply into midwest emo and TITLE FIGHT.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Donát: I think everything comes from that—everyone’s songs are rooted in their personal experiences.

Zoé: the upside of mental illness and psychosis is that you have something that you can express, something thats real.

Zsozsi: Very, very much. Also my dreams take a big part in some songs.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

Donát: If it evokes any kind of feeling in them, then it’s already achieved its goal.

Zoé: -//-

Zsozsi: Hope

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Donát: You have to not give a damn if you get rejected

Dani: Carry on and believe in your musical perspective, don’t try to conform to other styles if you don’t like it

Zoé: dont take yourself too seriously, networking is 90% making real friendships.

Zsozsi: Nothing really matters — you only need one person to believe in you, and that’s more than enough to keep you going.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Donát: I’d really love to go on tour more

Dani: Primavera

Zsozsi: Bakonynánai Gombócfesztivál <3

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Donát: Lou Reed

Zoé: Xiu xiu, their ability to express pure emotions and experiences in such a disguistingly honest, noisy experimental way is so inspiring.

Zsozsi: Charli XCX, i love her so much UwU

Zoé: new songs, new musical attitudes, weve been in this album cycle so long that im really looking forward to anything new.

Zsozsi: Play music together and be happy.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?
