What is your earliest memory connected to music?

I used to sing versions of “Happy Birthday” in kindergarten and the other kids would sit  around and listen.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I have always loved performing to my family but I think Hanna Montana sparked the  desire to start making music.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

The process of taking myself seriously as an artist – writing about what it feels like after  UMK and to have been given such a great career boost opportunity.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music  before?

It is emotional, sad and dark and I like to mix genres.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

I think that I have always made music in a way that works for me. I can’t force it and it  has to sound right for me. I can’t pretend to be someone I am not and the music has to  feel authentic and real. Many people have told me i should make happy songs or that my  songs have too many lyrics and that I shouldn’t air my dirty laundry in my songs. If I had  listened to them my music would not sound like me.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Keyboard is there to create the melodies and my notes App stores all the lyrics.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Ama and her song “Onneton”

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Writing songs has always been like therapy. I feel very strongly and when I’m sad I pour  it all into my music.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I hope that people can relate to my lyrics and find comfort in them.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

That music unites. During the preparation for UMK (Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu) and the  whole competition itself showed me how music can bring people together. So much love  and dedication went into the production and everyone who was part of it, gave their  everything and the participants supported each other throughout the competition.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Performing at Nokia Arena in Tampere was already a dream come true and I would love  to do that again. Naturally, I would love to perform at Eurovision.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Sabrina Carpenter because she has amazing energy and also KIKI.

Where can our listeners follow and support your music? (Website,Spotify, IG, links)

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical  journey?

I would love to perform live as much as possible and naturally also spend a week in the  studio writing songs.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

That I truly care about my fans
