What is your earliest memory connected to music? I think my earliest memory connected to music is just me performing in front of my family members with a little guitar i didn’t even know how to play. I used to do it all the time, in front of them, of my plushies or even to the wall imagining there were people there!

How did your passion for creating music begin? I think it has always been inside of me, it’s something I just remember having since forever, it was never questioned.

What’s the story behind your current music project? I’ve always wanted to be a Pop Star so I decided to jump in and do it in english with the help of my producer Nilo. It was hard to believe I could do it in the beginning because there’s a lot of competition in the market, but it’s what I love doing most so I hope it’s worth it in the end!

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before? Dance Pop and probably melancholy Pop! It’s very upbeat and danceable.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music? That you should do what feels right for you, you never know what’s gonna hit or not, so I love to make music for myself and release it only if I truly love it before anything else.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process? My producer is the one who does all of that part!! But I’ll say I LOVE synths and guitars!!!

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now? Stephen Dawes and Alfie Jukes!

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision? I think it really influences my music and it has been doing it more than ever. I’m still figuring out who Beatriz Oak is but it’s been such an amazing process and I think life will keep showing me what I should do next.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work? I hope they take my thoughts in, reflect and can also dance and enjoy it!

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far? The most important lesson is to keep going and doing it for myself and always feel it honestly.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at? I would love to do Coachella and a World Tour someday!

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why? I would love to collab with Olivia Rodrigo or Tate Mcrae, they’re my biggest role models and I feel like it would be insane!!

Where can our listeners follow and support your music? (Website, Spotify, IG, links) You can listen to my music everywhere!! https://open.spotify.com/artist/1zmimvOkxLAclKDjEjoXwL?si=qvSLhMtCTfuHKL9X133O1Q https://www.instagram.com/beatrizoak?igsh=bW95ejQ2Mzgwa3c%3D&utm_source=qr

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey? I want to release an EP and be able to play live for the first time!

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way? I hope listeners can get a taste of my story and who I am as a person and as an artist.
