What is your earliest memory connected to music?
When we were young, our very first band rehearsals. We didn’t fully master our instruments yet but we were there because we loved music and wanted to share it with people who felt the same passion.

How did your passion for creating music begin?
Either through one of our parents/relatives or by discovering an artist or band that blew us away and made us want to imitate them… probably a bit of both!

What’s the story behind your current music project?
Originally, Nell (lead vocals & guitar) created Kill The Princess out of conviction and rebellion: to show that when you’re a woman, you don’t have to make soft, sugary music—you can do whatever you want. We also wanted to inspire the next generation and prove that women can fully exist in rock. When Céline (bass & backing vocals), Émilie (lead guitar), and Eva (drums) joined, the band truly took shape, each bringing her own strength and personality. Together, we built a hybrid and committed universe, somewhere between pop, punk, and metal, where our energy and beliefs become a collective force on stage.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
We love both pop and metal. Our rock switches between atmospheric, floating moments and heavy riffs, between fierce vocals and catchy melodies. Imagine Lady Gaga, Muse, Paramore, and Linkin Park writing a song together!

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
Just because we’re not world-famous stars doesn’t mean we can’t make a living from our music and connect with our audience.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
Discord, Google Drive, Guitar Pro, various DAWs, our instruments (Tama, Fender, Manson, Gibson, Taylor), and a few VSTs.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
Grandma’s Ashes, IMPARFAIT, Sun (Brutal Pop), and Dead Run Radio.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
Our lives, our anger, and our struggles fuel our music. A Fire Within reflects our inner tensions and everyday battles, turning emotions and experiences into powerful riffs and honest lyrics. Between introspection and defiant strength, each track is both a personal and collective scream.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
We hope to convey resilience, sincerity, and determination—to show that you can stay true to yourself, follow your desires and values, and turn that energy into music that reaches others.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Be yourself, do what you love, stay true to your values, and people will feel it!

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
Rock Werchter, Download UK, or When We Were Young Festival.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
The Warning, for their power, their bond, and their impressive production. Their well-earned rise and their energy resonate with our own journey and truly inspire us.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?
We dream of continuing to grow without compromise, sharing our music with more and more people, and making every concert a safe space where energy, freedom, and emotion collide.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?
We hope they discover our authenticity, our raw energy, and our commitment. That each riff, each word, reveals the strength and passion that drive us.
