What is your earliest memory connected to music?

Man, I remember my earlist memory being me in the back of my dad’s Lincoln Towncar jamming out to Roxanne by The Police.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I have always loved music. From a young age, I enjoyed singing. I grew up in the greatest decade for music across all genres, the 90’s. From country to alternative rock, grunge, hip-hop and R&B, is was the best! I started playing trumpet in middle school and when I got to high school, I accidentally got placed into Choir, instead of Calculus. The teacher said I had a really good voice, and before I knew it, I was soloing in the All-State Mens 5-A Choir. It was a great beginning. Through out the next few years of my life, I joined my churches worship team, leading many projects every Sunday for the youth group and adult services. After high school, I joined a few different bands- but nothing ever stuck – and I continued playing acoustic shows, playing in weddings, and when I joined the Air Force, I took my guitar with me and played in every bar, venue or private party I could. Getting to play in some amaing places like Portugal, Germany, and even Afghanistan. When I came back to the states following my service, I started recording music, releasing my first album in late 2025. And it has been a great success.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

I’m incredibly excited to share this new project. It’s a collection of songs that reflect different aspects of life, from the highs to the lows, and everything in between. It’s a mix of gritty, real-life stories with that classic energy from my first album, and pushing my music to another level. Each track tells a piece of my journey and where I am now, both musically and personally.

This project is a blend of everything that makes me who I am—a little bit of heartbreak, a lot of fun, and plenty of raw emotion. It’s country, it’s rock, it’s real, and I’m really proud of how these songs come together. I think fans of my music will connect with the heart behind each track, and I’m excited to share this side of my journey with them.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

My sound is a mix of modern country with a southern rock edge—raw, high-energy, and real. It’s about storytelling, whether it’s a fun anthem or an emotional ballad. I bring a lot of heart and grit to every track, and my live shows are all about connecting with the crowd. If you like honest, powerful country music, you’ll vibe with it.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

I continue to learn how to make better music, by work great writers, and musicians. From studio musicians laying down the tracks, to professional live musicians, bringing every song to life in front of hundreds of fans.  There are many things that feed into being a good artist, but really understand that it is a business, and you want it to be sustainable. Holding yourself to being the best professional you can be has really helped.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

My guitar, my notepad and of course a camera to help record things to send to my producer. But as well, being able to post on social media to build a fan base.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Jakota Wass is a great artist, and his stories within his songs are great!

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

My personal experiences have shaped my music in a big way. Growing up in Texas, I was surrounded by country music and the stories that come with it— My time in the Air Force also played a big role. It taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of connection, which I bring into my music.

Each song I write comes from something real—whether it’s a tough breakup, rowdy times with friends, or just the feeling of being at home. My music is a reflection of where I’ve been and where I’m going, always staying true to my roots but pushing forward into new sounds and stories.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I hope listeners feel something real when they hear my music—whether it’s the rush of a high-energy anthem or the raw emotion of a ballad. I want people to connect with the stories, to feel like they’re not alone in whatever they’re going through. Whether it’s about love, loss, or chasing dreams, I want my songs to be a reminder that life’s messy, but it’s worth living fully and with heart. My goal is for listeners to find something that resonates with them, whether it lifts them up or helps them reflect on where they’re at in life.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

The most important lesson music has taught me is the power of connection. It’s not just about the songs—it’s about the way they make people feel, the stories they tell, and the emotions they evoke. Whether it’s through a lyric or a live performance, music has the ability to bring people together, and that’s what makes it so powerful. It’s taught me to be vulnerable, to be real, and to never stop pushing myself to grow and evolve as an artist.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

A dream venue for me would be the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. It’s the heart of country music, and playing there would be the ultimate honor. As for festivals, I’d love to hit stage at Austin City Limits, it’s where it all started, and of course Country Calling in OCMD. A testiment to the life I have built after the Air Force. The energy, the crowds, the vibe—it’s one of those iconic festivals where you get to share your music with a massive, passionate audience. All three of these would be huge milestones in my career.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

If I could collaborate with any artist, it’d be Jason Aldean, Cody Johnson or Luke Combs. They are raw, unapologetic sound that blended country, rock, and outlaw spirit in a way that’s just timeless. The music spoke to real life—the grit, the struggle, and the triumphs. I think combining that energy with my own style would create something that would resonate with fans who love authenticity and raw emotion in their music. Plus, the opportunity to sit down and learn from someone like these gents would be incredible.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

Looking ahead, my dream is to keep growing both as an artist and a performer. I want to reach more fans, play bigger stages, and continue to create music that’s real and meaningful. Ultimately, I hope to create an experience that people can connect to—whether that’s through a live show or a song they can relate to on a personal level. My goal is to keep pushing boundaries, take risks with my sound, and build a lasting legacy where my music continues to speak to people for years to come.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

I hope listeners discover that I’m someone who’s real and relatable. My music comes from a place of honesty—whether it’s the highs or the lows, I’m not afraid to show the vulnerable side of who I am. I want people to see that behind the music is a person who’s always striving to grow, connect, and keep pushing forward. And, of course, I hope they find something in my songs that speaks to their own life and experiences—whether it’s a laugh, a tear, or just a moment of connection.
