CHICAGO, IL – Rapidly ascending hip-hop collective DA-MOVEMENT has officially secured the 2026 InterContinental Music Award (ICMA) in the Rap category for North America. The prestigious international honor was awarded for their high-velocity single “All Black Everything (Remix),” firmly establishing the independent group as a formidable global presence.

Spearheaded by Pompey “Pay” Hicks III alongside core member Daries “Qraft” Jackson, DA-MOVEMENT has been on an aggressive upward trajectory. The ICMA victory arrives concurrently with the massive international breakout of the group’s separate hit single, “24’s” (featuring the legendary Johnny P and Never of Crucial Conflict), which reached #3 on the Euro Indie Music Chart (EIMC Top 10) and debuted at #139 on the United States Mediabase Activator Chart.

In addition to its dominant broadcast chart placements, “24’s” has rapidly infiltrated global nightlife. According to recent Digital DJ Pool analytics, the single achieved a perfect 10.0/10 DJ Venues Score and secured over 17,300 impressions, penetrating 322 clubs worldwide with an estimated combined venue capacity exceeding 193,000. Reaching 2,342 professional DJs across major markets including the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, and Spain, the track ranks in the 95th percentile for Hip Hop and R&B, maintaining heavy rotation across club circuits, event DJs, and FM stations alike.

The winning track, “All Black Everything (Remix),” features a powerhouse lineup of Chicago architects, including AK of Do or Die, Never of Crucial Conflict, and R&B vocalist J. Harris. The record exemplifies DA-MOVEMENT’s core mission: delivering authentic, top-tier Midwest hip-hop production while honoring the deep cultural legacy of the city.

These massive chart and award victories are the direct result of DA-MOVEMENT’s ongoing “Audio Resurrection Campaign”—a meticulous engineering initiative designed to bring classic Chicago sounds to the absolute bleeding edge of modern audio fidelity. Operating independently but executing at a major-label level, both “All Black Everything (Remix)” and “24’s” received this elite campaign treatment. The group’s pristine sonic delivery is anchored by renowned engineer Rae Nimeh, who handles the meticulous vocal recording and mixing credits.

To capitalize on this historic victory and push the boundaries of the Audio Resurrection Campaign even further, DA-MOVEMENT has announced that the award-winning “All Black Everything (Remix)” is receiving a massive technical upgrade. Engineered by 8-time nominated and 2-time

Grammy-winning mastering engineer Mike Tucci, a new immersive Dolby Atmos spatial audio master of the victorious track will be available on Apple Music in the coming weeks, offering fans and industry tastemakers an unprecedented, multi-dimensional listening experience.

“To win an international award of this magnitude and bring that hardware home to Chicago means everything,” stated Executive Producer Pompey “Pay” Hicks III, founder of DA-MOVEMENT. “We took the authentic Westside sound global with ‘All Black Everything.’ This win isn’t just for us; it’s for our family, our team, and every single person supporting independent hip-hop.”

The InterContinental Music Awards recognize exceptional talent across a global spectrum, evaluating entries on originality, production quality, and cultural impact. DA-MOVEMENT’s triumph in the North American category underscores the undeniable momentum they have generated globally. This historic win was fueled by an expansive coalition of platforms and tastemakers championing the group’s sound, including The European Indie Music Network (EIMN), Heston Cleveland and Ricardo Love, The Indy Hook Up, Dilemaradio Hip-Hop, Henry Vargas (Splash FM 98.5), Jae Cabrera (Vibing with Jae), J.
