What is your earliest memory connected to music?
Can’t remember one single moment, but remember hearing a lot bands like Pearl Jam, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and similars
How did your passion for creating music begin?
My passion for creating music started with the desire to create something unique and a need to express myself. Music became my way of sharing thoughts and emotions.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
Story is essentially my life experiences, whatever I have most difficulties in speaking out loud I do it through music.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
I would say it’s a rough mix between bossa nova, indie, pop and a bit of jazz
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
That it’s not about the right chord, not about the right word and not about master your technic, but it’s about if you are able to put all emotion into it in a way that who listen is involved in it.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
The guitar

MARO
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
It’s absolutely everything for me, the music I have been making it’s pretty much an extension of my experiences.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
Not a specific emotion or message but would like to pass authenticity. Feeling like it’s a authentic and honest music
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Patience. Nothing happens as fast as you want but with the right mindset you take that positively. Rush is also your enemy

Montreux Jazz Festival

Continue the path I’m going through with stabilized growth. Continuing writing songs, having concerts and so on…

I hope listeners discover that my music is honest. Everything I create is shaped with authenticity, always putting the song first and making choices that help it speak for itself.
