Blending infectious melodies, smooth vocals, and an upbeat groove, the song explores the rush of attraction and the confidence that comes with pursuing someone who catches your attention.

With its catchy hooks and playful energy, “Easy on the Eyes” is designed to be the kind of song listeners can sing along to, dance to, and keep on repeat. The track showcases DANNY-EL’s ability to combine relatable storytelling with modern pop and R&B influences, creating a sound that is both fresh and accessible.

What is your earliest memory connected to music?

Reply

My earliest memory connected to music is first taking piano lessons at age five and subsequently through my school curriculum, and that experience opened the door to everything that followed. I later explored violin, clarinet, drums, saxophone, and guitar. That early exposure built my foundation in music and sparked a lasting curiosity for sound and creation.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

Reply

I started writing songs at a very tender age of 5 and I guess as a way to encourage my early songwriting ventures, my dad made the first song demo I ever wrote his ringtone. Just that little intentional action was enough for me and that’s when it became more than a hobby, felt like a responsibility.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

Reply

The story describes a cheeky, romantic transition from bestfriend to life partener. It’s awkard and even a little cheesy, but at the end of the day when all is said and done, you can’t deny the scary, intense feelings that have grown for this special person.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

Reply

Catchy, acoustic pop and RnB music that you want to sing along to, at the top of your lungs on those late night drives or secretly learn the choreography to. Taking deep, complicated, heartbreaking feelings a little more easily digestible.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Reply

I learned to intentionally create moments within the songwriting process—crafting specific sections that translate well into social media clips or live performances, and that connect with fans in a more intentional, memorable way.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Reply

Honestly, my phone is probably one of the most important pieces of gear I own. A lot of my ideas show up when I least expect them, so having a way to quickly record a lyric, melody, or random thought is essential.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Reply

A friend put me on to Steve Lacy recently and I’ve been hooked. I think Steve Lacy is such a talented multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Looking forward to the future projects.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Reply

My personal experiences are at the center of a lot of what I create. I’ve always used songwriting as a way to make sense of things I haven’t fully understood yet or still trying to figure out—whether that’s love, heartbreak, uncertainty, or personal growth. A lot of my music starts with a real feeling or moment from my life, and my artistic vision is really about turning those relatable, real-life experiences into something  people can sing along to and see themselves in.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

Reply

I call supporters of my work “dreamers” because at the core of my music and my brand, the message is about deep ambition and hope about love, life, dreams and emotional honesty and vulnerability. I’m hoping to spread a message about a true kind of love and lifestlye that is bold and enduring.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Reply

The most important lesson music has taught me so far is that it’s more than entertainment. It is a sacred art form with the ability to influence, unite, and transform lives. Music can bring people together, uplift them in difficult moments, and create connections that transcend differences. It reminds me to steward my God-given talent with grace, humility and passion.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Reply

A dream venue would be Madison Square Garden. It’s one of the most iconic venues in the world, and the idea of performing there one day, like the legends before me, and hearing thousands of people sing my songs back to me is incredibly motivating.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Reply

If I could collaborate with any artist from the past, it would be Michael Jackson. His creativity, work ethic, and energy were unmatched, and I think just being in the studio with him would be an incredible learning experience. There’s so much about his artistry and career that I’d want to absorb and apply to my own journey.

For a current artist, I’d say Jaydon, an upcoming RnB singer and performer. I really admire what he’s doing right now, and I think our styles complement each other well. We share a similar approach to music and performance, so I feel like we’d create something cool together. Another one is Joshua Bassett with similar songwriting styles and music production.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

Reply

Looking ahead, my dream is to build a lasting career as a professional singer and performer. I’m going to continue growing as an artist, sharing my music with larger audiences, and creating songs that people connect with on a personal level. So that looks like touring, releasing more albums, and performing on some of the world’s biggest stages, my goal is to make and perform music that leaves a meaningful impact.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

Reply

I hope listeners discover that my music is built on honesty and curiosity. I like exploring real emotions in a way that feels relatable but still a little unexpected, whether that’s through the lyrics, the melodies, or the energy of the record. At the core, I want people to see that I’m someone who’s always trying to turn real-life moments into something they can feel and connect with.
