Formula Indie Sessions : Interview with Adm Project

What is your earliest memory connected to music?
One of my earliest memories connected to music goes back to when I was a teenager listening to the Pink Floyd completely immersed in my headphones, trying to understand how sounds could create such powerful images in the mind. I also remember being fascinated by great movie soundtracks and by music capable of transmitting deep emotions without needing too many words. I think that’s where everything started: the desire to create music that could make people “travel.”
How did your passion for creating music begin?
My passion for music was born in a completely natural way. I started as a self-taught musician, playing acoustic guitar, and over time I realized that instrument could give me huge emotions and satisfaction. From there, a continuous journey of discovery began: I tried exploring different musical genres, letting myself be inspired by many different sounds, atmospheres, and artists.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
ADM Project represents my artistic world. I didn’t want to create a project tied to just one musical genre, but rather a recognizable sonic identity. Songs like Fiore del Deserto, Carne e Anima, and Le Corde del Desiderio tell stories of real emotions, fragility, and connection with what surrounds us. Every production is born from a mental image or a very specific emotion.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
I would describe it as a mix of vintage sounds, cinematic atmospheres, and ambient-pop influences. Music designed to create deep and immersive emotions, meant to transport the listener into feelings and images — something to experience rather than simply hear in the background.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
I realized that technique alone is not enough.
You can have the perfect sound, but if there’s no emotion, the song remains empty. Today, when I produce music, I mainly search for truth and empathy.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
I mainly use analog instruments, especially guitars, which remain the heart of my way of composing. I love working with authentic and atmospheric sounds, leaving room for emotion and interpretation. Technology helps me during production, but everything often starts from a simple melody, an arpeggio, or an atmosphere I have in mind.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
I listen to a lot of independent music and artists who experiment without fear. I’m especially inspired by those who manage to create a strong identity and authentic atmospheres. At the same time, I remain deeply connected to the great Italian music of the past and to Anglo-Saxon sounds, which still strongly influence the way I live and create music.
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
A lot. ADM Project was born directly from my personal sensitivity. Lived emotions, difficult moments, inner reflections, and even silence become music. Every song contains a real part of myself.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
I’d like people to find in my songs an emotional space where they can feel understood, free to pause for a moment and let themselves drift away. I love the idea that a song can help someone relive an emotion or feel a little less alone.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
That vulnerability is a strength. The truest songs are the ones where you stop protecting yourself and let emotions genuinely speak.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
My goal is to continue building an authentic and recognizable musical identity, something that can truly represent me over time. I want to create my own musical story without following trends or compromises, trying to make music that first of all satisfies and convinces myself. I believe that only this way can a project remain real and leave something personal to those who listen.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Definitely Pink Floyd. They transformed music into a timeless emotional and visual journey, and that’s an artistic vision I deeply relate to.
Where can our listeners follow and support your music? (Website, Spotify, IG, links)
You can follow ADM Project on Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Apple Music by searching for “ADM Project.” New music and new projects are coming soon.
Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?
To continue growing artistically, reach more and more people, and create music capable of truly leaving something inside those who listen.
What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?
I hope they discover the most authentic side of Alessio Miccichè behind ADM Project: a person who uses music to transform emotions, images, and fragility into something real and shareable.
