What is your earliest memory connected to music?

  singing with grandmother by the oil stove heater in the winter

How did your passion for creating music begin?

 I wrote short dog stories and my 7th grade teacher read them to the class.. I picked up a friends guitar at his house and it was on.. I started learning chords and wrote my first song, Black Diamond, after the guitar strings I bought by that name…

What’s the story behind your current music project?

  An EPK idea..five songs, southern theme.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

 Country, Rock, ie Hank Jr, Waylon, mixed with hard country like Hag.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

  Ai… for recordings only, I never use it to write or it wouldn’t be my song….with my soul in it.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

  guitar… lap top…Suno for demoes sometimes.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

  I Never Lie… Zack Top

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

 yes… I write from my experiences growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and that culture.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

  happiness, empathy, and enjoying my story songs.. I’m a story teller

 What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

  it is a business.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

   Grand Ol Opry, Carnage Hall

  Zack Top, he is bringing back the C in country.
