What is your earliest memory connected to music?
Our earliest memory of music is deeply visceral. It isn’t tied to a specific song, but to a feeling: sound flooding a room, the volume turned almost too high, physical vibrations felt before we even knew what we were listening to. That’s when we understood music wasn’t just something to hear — it was something to experience.
How did your passion for creating music begin?
It started spontaneously, almost unavoidably. Listening was no longer enough — we felt compelled to create, to translate complex emotions into sound. Music quickly became an alternative language, one that felt more honest than words.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
Adrift With Paradox was born from the feeling of being suspended between opposites: order and chaos, rational thought and instinct, light and shadow. It’s a project that mirrors how we navigate the world — not in search of definitive answers, but by embracing and exploring contradictions.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
We’d describe it as a journey. A blend of alternative and progressive rock infused with psychedelic atmospheres and introspective moments. We don’t gravitate toward simple structures — we like to leave space for unpredictability to unfold.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
We learned that silence is just as important as sound. Allowing the music to breathe, resisting the urge to fill every space, and trusting pauses radically transformed our approach to composition.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
Guitars, bass, and drums remain at the core of our sound, but our process also moves through synths, effects, ambient textures, and recording software. We use technology not to correct mistakes, but to expand expressive possibilities.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
At the moment, we’re drawn to artists who dare without labels — those who successfully merge introspection and experimentation while preserving a strong independent identity.
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
Entirely. Every track is rooted in real experiences: changes, losses, unresolved questions. Music becomes the space where those experiences can evolve, transform, and take on a form that can be shared.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
We hope listeners feel less alone. We don’t offer solutions, but rather a safe space — one where people can recognize themselves, even in their most fragile or contradictory parts.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Patience. Music can’t be forced — it grows through time, listening, and mistakes. And the same applies to us as individuals.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
Any place where listening is intentional and deep. Festivals that celebrate experimentation, or intimate clubs where the audience comes to immerse itself, not just to consume music.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
With artists who have broken conventions and built their own sonic worlds. The most meaningful collaborations emerge when everyone brings their own chaos into the process.
