How would you introduce yourself to the European audience in one or few sentence and what is the biggest misconception people have about you?

I would say, I’m a mix of a pop diva and a pretty chill guy from the country side! Hmmm the biggest misconception about me is that people sometimes think, that I’m just this natural talent, we’re everything just happens, but I have a lot of rehearsal hours, and training behind it, and I never think I’m done learning.

What does it mean to you to perform at the ESC 2026 and is this the peak of your career or just the beginning?

This is definitely the biggest thing I’m experiencing this far, which is absolutely amazing to me. I still can’t believe it’s happening!! But LET ME TELL YOU, it’s very much just the beginning. I’m already working on the next thing!

When did your Eurovision journey begin – as a fan or as an artist and do you remember a specific performance or artist that inspired you?

My Eurovision started when I was very little. I can’t remember a time without it. I do remember the junior Eurovision of 2001, I got it on a CD, and I was only 3-4 years old, and I remember thinking, wow these kids are on that big stage, how must that feel!

What is the core story or message behind your song and is it based on a personal experience or a more universal theme?

The song is about this very human feeling of surrendering to the mistakes we all make, going back to a person over and over again, that we know is toxic, but it is also what makes us understand ourself, grow up, and live life to the fullest, letting go! What musically inspired me, I definitely wanted to try the full popstar fantasy, Troye Sivan was a big inspiration, and also Clara Sofie, who is one of the song writers, and a club queen of Denmark!

Describe your song in three words and which of those words defines it best – and why?

LONGING, BANGER, FIRE

What do you see as your biggest strength compared to this year’s competition and honestly – what could be your weakest point?

Well I’m not sure what my strengths are compared to the others, but I know what my strength is to myself, and that must be, my training in musical theatre, and that it is not new to me being on a stage.

What will be the standout moment of your performance and was it planned from the start or did it evolve during rehearsals/preparations to ESC?

I think maybe my standout moment is the “getting inside the box” moment. Which happened during rehearsals, I new that k wanted to be upside down, but from there my choreographer said, “now get in to the box” hahaha. And then we kind of figured out how to do that smoothly.

Have you discovered any favorites among this year’s contestants and if you had to give your 12 points – who would get them?

You know it’s like choosing between children, I love all of my fellow Eurovision people! It shifts everyday, right now I’m in love with Portugals entry, I love that kind of ballad, and harmony driven song, it gives me chills.

What would a “good result” mean to you personally and what result would genuinely disappoint you, if you’re being completely honest?

It would definitely mean a lot to have a good result. But my goal with entering this competition is never to think about the points of the result, it takes away from the fun, and to be in moment when I perform, and would in the end take away from a great result. So I really try to focus on the fun, and the skills I need to do the performance. But if I don’t get to the final, I’ll probably be a lil sad haha:)

What are your plans after Eurovision? Do you already have concrete projects lined up – album, tour, international career?

I’m working on new music already, so you’ll find out 🙂 and then I’m working on mixing my acting career with my music career:)

For the end … what do you like to do when you’re not involved in music? What excites you then?

I love spending time with my couch and my TV haha:) and I actually haven’t found out what I’m excited about outside music and acting yet. So I’ll have to work on that.

5 short questions for short answers

Would you say Eurovision today is more about the music or the staging – and where do you fit in that balance?

It’s equally about the music and the staging and it is that balance you find the perfect Eurovision entry.

Have you been following the betting odds – and do they influence you at all?

Sometimes, but no.

Would you describe yourself as a potential winner?

Yes I would:)

What’s your biggest fear in the final moments before stepping on stage?

Farting in the mic.

What’s one thing about you that might surprise people who only know you from Eurovision?

I’m really clumsy:)
