What is your earliest memory connected to music?
Singing in a circle in kindergarten
How did your passion for creating music begin?
In the school band, when we wanted to move away from cover versions and convey our own stories.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
It all started with an idea over a beer to write a song for the 2024 European Football Championship. We had an incredible amount of fun during that process and knew we would continue.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
It’s Swiss dialect pop with catchy melodies and peppered with humor and wordplay.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
Don’t try to imitate others, but trust your intuition and impulses in the moment.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
Exchange and feedback with and from other musicians. Guitar, piano, voice and tools in logic Pro
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
Bon Iver
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
They have changed significantly through these experiences. Success is no longer the primary focus, but rather the belief that what brings me joy will also touch others.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
The music is meant to create light and carefree moments. The exciting thing is that it also evokes feelings in the listeners that weren’t present during the songwriting process.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Music means experiencing moments together and is pure stress regulation and therapy.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
Nothing in particular! You can also experience a magical evening on a small scale, on a small stage…that’s the point.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Patent Ochsner. They write beautiful songs with depth. A band that is genuine.
