Formula Indie Sessions _ Interview with G DOT J

What is your earliest memory connected to music?

An early memory I have is that even before I knew anything about music, my soul loved it deeply.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I don’t know from where, but the first time I heard music, creation just happened on its own. I never tried or forced myself into it.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

,It feels close to my heart, and I believe people will connect with it. It’s like I’ve expressed something real in simple terms, and I’ve tried to make the music soothing, something that creates a warm, comforting environment for the listener.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music

before?

My sound is a bit raw, if you listen closely, it will feel like you’ve already lived this life. In fact, I feel my music is purely inspired by reality.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music? Music can heal, it can change your mood, and it can motivate you. In fact, music can give life,I think without music, there is nothing.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Since my music is digital, a mic, a laptop, headphones, a recording environment, speakers, and a DAW are enough for me.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Anuv Jain & Chaar Diwaari are on loop these days.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision? With their help, I’m able to bring a bit of reality into my music. I think my sound comes from my personal experiences.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

You should never give up in life. Ups and downs come, winning and losing are part of life. Enjoy every moment, because pain also comes sometimes.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Growth and learning never stop in life, human beings can never stop learning, and creativity

has no limits. The more imaginative (even a little “delusional”) your mind is, the better it can create.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Wembley Stadium.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Bohemia, because I started music because of him, so it has been my dream since the beginning to work with him.

Where can our listeners follow and support your music? (Website,Spotify, IG, links)

On Spotify , IG , Apple Music , YT and all leading platforms with stage name, G DOT J.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

To inspire new artists and help those who aren’t getting any guidance, so they can find a platform.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

Realness, Hardwork & Creativity.
