Introduction of the project

What is your earliest memory connected to music?

I remember being on stage at church with my older sister when I was like, 2 years old. She would sing solos and I would just stand there beside her.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I remember the exact moment – I was at a concert and just knew I wanted to do THAT. I went home and immediately started writing lyrics.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

E.N.D. (EveryNewDay) is a dark, cinematic rock band out of Nashville, TN. Every song gets its own inkblot, because what you hear in it is yours. We write for the people who feel misunderstood, overlooked, or judged – mental health and suicide awareness are at the core of why this band exists. Our first single Deep Dark You came out in March, followed by Empty Prison and Escape, and we’re just getting started.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music

before?

Dark, cinematic rock. Heavy but melodic – big atmosphere, honest lyrics, the kind of songs that play like a movie in your head. We write songs you feel as much as you hear.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Honestly, that we are still learning – and we hope we always are. Music never stops evolving, and neither should the people making it. Every song teaches us something new about how we want to sound and what we want to say. The day we think we’ve got it figured out is the day we stop growing, so we try to stay students of it.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Cubase, for sure – it’s a great all-around DAW. We’ve started using the Roland TD516 to write drums, and we love diving into Arcade for the sparkly stuff. ANA 2 from Slate Digital is a great synth plugin too. We keep the creative side pretty simple, but once we bring it into the studio, that’s where things get real.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

PVRIS, The Haunt, Stand Atlantic, RIVALS, Blank Era, and Dead Eyes

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Everything we write comes from real life – loss, starting over, knowing what it feels like to be misunderstood, overlooked, judged… This band is what came out the other side of that. It’s why mental health and suicide awareness aren’t themes we picked, they’re just honest. The inkblots say it best: what you hear in a song is yours, because everyone has their own version of the dark.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

That they’re not alone. Whatever someone is carrying – feeling misunderstood, overlooked, judged – we want our songs to be the place where it gets to exist out loud. If somebody gets to the end of a song and feels a little less alone in their own head, that’s everything to us.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Patience – and that the music has to be the point. Everything around it, the industry, the timing, the numbers, is out of your hands. But. A song that means something will find the people who need it. Keep making what’s true and let the rest catch up.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

YES, haha. Any stage where people showed up to feel something is the dream venue. But if we’re naming names, the rock festival circuit is on the vision board – Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life, Inkcarceration, Vans Warped Tour, etc. Put us in front of people who live for this music and we’ll take it from there.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

How much time do you have? Bring Me the Horizon, PVRIS, Bad Omens, Nothing More, Rain City Drive – honestly, the list doesn’t end – there’s so much good heavy music right now, and we’d be honored to share a song or stage with any of them.

Where can our listeners follow and support your music? (Website,Spotify, IG, links)

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical

journey?

More music, more stages. We’re building a full set right now, and the goal is to be playing shows in early 2027 – getting these songs in front of people live. Long term, we want this band to be what it was always meant to be: the place where people who feel misunderstood find their song. More songs, more inkblots, and a room full of people singing them back – that’s the dream.
