What is your earliest memory connected to music?
Reply The earliest memory I had where I felt a real connection to music was going to
see the Irish guitarist Rory Gallagher
How did your passion for creating music begin?
Even as a child I had the feeling I had a message to impart
and as soon as I got a guitar aged 13 the most natural thing for
me was to communicate via my songs
What’s the story behind your current music project?
I had just finished a masters in music and discovered I had cancer in
2019 so most of music i have composed in recent years was in relationship
to this battle
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
I think it’s a carcrash between blues music grunge and various other genres
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
The smallest things are the most important the distance you are from the microphone or what is the acoustic in the room you record in.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
My voice is the real driving force behind my sound,I can play nearly all my music
on a six string guitar
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
Strangely enough its the Enimem song America I identify with that alienation,I feel alienated from my own country
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
Music has always been for me the keeping of a diary when I listen to my early music I hear a grief stricken angry young man in the later music I hear a man fighting back
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
Hope that every new day brings the possibility of hope
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?I am just a flawed man

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
I suppose I would have to say Glastonbury and if not it would be the people
in the pub next door in Prague.They supported me the Irish treated me dreadfully because I was more talented than them
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
I think I would say Sinead o’ Connor she had that great artistry and soul some of the Irish have

and I stood up for my beliefs
