What is your earliest memory connected to music?
Putting my hand up in class to volunteer for cello lessons
How did your passion for creating music begin?
The minute I picked up a cello
What’s the story behind your current music project?
I started working on my second EP earlier this year I decided I wanted to make a follow up to my critically acclaimed EP “Heads or Tales” so I could glue them together and release as a vinyl album next year…
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
Indie folk /singer songwriter with a large dash of Americana and a splash of cinematic folk horror
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
To care about lyrics
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
Cello voice moleskin and a pencil

Jane Leo
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
I grew up an only child with sick parents my cello became my best friend and music my anchor
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
I hope they find a meaningful connection
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
That you never stop learning
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
Glastonbury, Woodstock C 76 (yeah I know..) Tonder
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Sam Fender I’d take his lyrical honestly and put it in some cool folk setting..It would be a harmony laden duet of course – his anger and frustration would sound poetic with strings and acoustics.
