What is your earliest memory connected to music?
Asking my mom for some funky music and she gave me Micheal Jackson Thriller started listening to MC Hammer Kris Kros and my older sister i produced me to Public Enemy
How did your passion for creating music begin?
I moved to the Bahamas (which is where my dad is from ) with my dad and met some friends I would change songs on the radio to make jokes in class somebody told me to write a song and enter so I did and won 3rd place and it stared from there
What’s the story behind your current music project?
My last release XLII which is the roman numerals for 42 was writen just after I turned 42. It was inspired by natural occurring events and experience. The songs just came naturally I even made the cover.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
My sound is mostly boom bap rap how ever sometime I like to experiment with flows and harmonies. Being of Bahamian desent i also have a carribean influence to my music But mostly boom bap.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
It hard to pint point one specific thing I learn so much every day. that changes the way i make music. For example i started out in the CD and cassette tape era but the constant change and technology and the development of social media and streaming platform has me constantly evolving from reels to creating content helping produce my music videos ect. Life is a journey and we as humans are constantly evolving and its reflected in my music which is constantly evolving.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
when im writing I use my phone (note pad app) ear buds and zone out. I use Ableton live to record my vocal. And send them to my engineer to mix.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
Ben e brix and Y.H.N Prodi
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
Most of the music i write is via personal experiences so the titles and topics I write on are effected by such. So experience definitely plays a big roll in my artistic vision.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
There are a lot of difrent emotion or messages that I put in my music .it depends on the song but my music carries a wide variety of emotions . But I want my listeners to think and always question everything.and also to enjoy them self life is short.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
That diligence has its own reward and that life is a journey . To keep walking g the path and never give up I started professionally recording when I was 16 years old and I’m 43 now but I feel like im just getting started.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
Rogers place or Coachella
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
This is a tuff question there lot of people I’d like to collaborate with. But If I and to choose it would be my friend Alexis Cartwright aka Lex he was one of the meme et of my first group and he passed away over 10 years ago a talented Indie artist from the Bahamas that did rap reggae dancehall and R& B.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?
Keep writing music and hopefully to inspire others. I have 4 u released peoject and I plan to get them out next year.

That im a real person growing g and learning everyday.
