What is your earliest memory connected to music?

When I was 8 years old I was in a youth center (VZA Meidling known as “Kistl”) with other young kids and teenagers. There you could learn dancing, doing music stuff like record a song or learning DJ skills and many other activities. I saw a teenager his name is “Oliver Joncic” (today known as REVIII who is the last 5 years my song producer) and he was mixing songs like a PRO at the DJ decks and he was only 11 years old. Next to him was “Norbert” he was an employee in this youth center. He was watching him and giving him some tipps and advices. I was fascinated and I asked Oliver if he could teach me how to mix like a DJ. This was the start of my music career.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I started to learn how to mix songs like a DJ. When I was 16 years old I started to mix songs in clubs and bars as a DJ. I was doing this till I was 18 years old. But I noticed with 16 that I also like to write some lyrics and phrases and with 18 years I stopped as a DJ and began to write songs and hooks. A half year later I started in Drum and Bass Clubs as a MC (master of ceremony) and performed my lyrics on stage. After that I realized that my lyrics are better than just for club nights and I started to make my own songs which were produced by REVIII (Oliver Joncic).

What’s the story behind your current music project?

A little bit about my 9 to 5 job and many situations and stories of my currently life.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

My sound is often based on boom bap beats but also on techno or house beats. My lyrcis are very individual and not everybody understand the style of my lyrics because it’s not the ordinary mainstream type of music and lyrics.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

To learn to categorize the feedback from professional music artists and from normal music listeners and to differentiate the feddbacks.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Ableton is the music software and intstruments I like many of them sometimes we use some of them but often my producer REVIII creates his style of the beat and we take it for my song.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

chefket (germany) song: man in the mirrow

SSIO (germany) all of his songs

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

A lot because what I saw and what I know about the music industry is often a point where I think about in my writing sesssions and also the experiences that I have experienced have a massiv impact in my artistic vision.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

To do not the same mistakes that I have done in my life.

To inspire people to go their way and to follow things that they like to do also when you are just a beginner just keep going and one day it will pay off.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

That music is just more than instruments and lyrics. It’s a vibe that you create and people who listen to the song you catch them with the vibe and they use the song in many life situations.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Splash festival, rolling loud festival
