-What is your earliest memory connected to music?

I remember being 7-8 years old, singing randomly everywhere I’d go and asking people what they think. Looking back they probably thought I was crazy, I don’t blame them though.

-How did your passion for creating music begin?

I started writing very early, I always loved writing and creating stories so when I realized I can do that with music, it’s all I wanted to do.

-What’s the story behind your current music project?

my current project as well as my upcoming ones are about figuring out love and relationships as someone in their early 20’s. Paying attention to patterns and behaviors in others that I don’t want to put up with and my own bad patterns and behaviors as well.

-How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

indie-pop with some rock influences. Lyrically it’s like listening to a diary in the form of a song.

-What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

the songs you’re too scared of recording and releasing are often times the best ones you’ve ever written.

-What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

first and foremost, I need to be alone with my thoughts. Secondly, a metronome.

-Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

I can’t think of anything indie specifically but I’ve been listening to “disease” and “garden of eden” by Lady Gaga a lot lately.

-How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

my personal experiences create my music. Everything I can’t say, I put in my songs.

-What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I hope they feel heard and understood. I’m sure my experiences aren’t just my own and if anyone can relate, I’m happy to know I’m not alone in that.

-What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

you get better as you create more, and you can’t get better by just waiting to get better. For the longest time I thought I wasn’t good enough to release songs and I needed to wait until I felt “ready”. But now I think I get better with every release and I can’t make progress otherwise.

-What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Madison Square Garden which is cliché but cool nonetheless. I’ve watched my favorite artists get there and I hope to do the same one day.

-If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Lady Gaga. I’ve never written with anyone before and I’d love to watch her writing process.

-Where can our listeners follow and support your music?

-Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

I hope to start working on an album/EP in the upcoming year.

-What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

possibly my best and worst trait, my brutal honesty.
