Attatototo is the name of an italian band that blends classic italian singer-songwriter sensibility with bold rock n roll attutitude and a diverse range of experimentation

What is your earliest memory connected to music?

A cassette tape with songs by Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and The Byrds my father used to play on our way to the beach

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I started writing songs while in highschool as way to give some musicality to silly poems I used to write back then

What’s the story behind your current music project?

Attatototo starded as a middle school band formed by childhood friends. We took separate ways while in high school and college, but we found our way back together during the covid pandemic. We wanted to start this project as a tribute to those little children

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

Think of a ‘90s britrock group with the instruments of a 2025 band and a singer who is an italian literature geek. And make it way more funnier as it sounds.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Nothing is fixed there are really no rules, just trust your guts cause success is not the point in this thing

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Just a guitar or a keyboard. I graduated in electronic music but I do not trust the machines anymore in my process, with the pandemic I wanted to strip down the process back to the basis

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

I’m listening to this austian-italian synth pop band called Elettrotape, really cool sound and voice

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

I am a quite person, I really do not want to bother other people so I tend to write quite music and then crash it completely in the rehearsal room with boys, cause we all need noise at some point

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I want our listeners to think of passing time in a more compassionate way, all of our experiences are part of what we are now and what we will be tomorrow, so be open-minded

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Best things are done together

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Sziget would be a dream, top european festival

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Dream collab would be Peter Gabriel, Grian Chatten and Vasco Brondi

Where can our listeners follow and support your music? (Website,Spotify, IG, links)

We are on Instagram and Spotify

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

ReplyI want to release our first full lenght album next year and play some really cool show in some really cool place with some really cool people

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

That we have become something while staying the same five little children deep inside
