What is your earliest memory connected to music?

Probably tagging along with my dad to his local band rehearsal space when I was a kid. I just loved hanging around, listening to him and his bandmates playin rock music together.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I think I’ve always wanted to write my music but were a bit scared to do it by myseld, like I’m doing this time. I’ve written guitar parts and solos before within bands, but I didn’t find the courage to do it all by myself until I was in my thirties.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

It kind of began during the covid lockdown. You really couldn’t do much outside of your home, so it kind of just happened while I doodled on my guitar at home that some songs started to come out, and I was like: ”Hey, maybe this could be something”.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

It’s a mixed bag really, I grew up listening to a lot of classic rock, but I also have a weak spot for the old western movies that Clint Eastwood starred in. Combining those two and adding some surf-inspired guitar playing really is the best way to describe it.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

The amazing things you can do at home today. And since I’m the sole songwriter it helps having the luxury of recording early versions and/or ideas and build from there.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

I’ve settled on using Logic Pro as my DAW, and then there’s obviously my arsenal of guitars and basses I have at home. I also use a 49-keys midi-controller for whatever extra layers I need.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

With so many talented indie artists out there it’s impossible to choose one over the other. But I will say this; There’s so many talented people out there that standing out is harder than ever.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Quite a lot I would say. So far I’ve lived (like most people) through several ups and downs, and I try to capture it through my lyrics and memorable melodies.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

So far from the reviews I gotten from across the world is that my music feels honest and heartfelt. I didn’t start to write my own music for anyone else but myself, and I’ve realized that’s what people want in todays polished and artificial and non-organic contemporary – Something raw, honest and real.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

It’s been the one constant through my life. Through happiness and through sorrow – music has always, and will always be a big part of my life.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Oh man, what a tough question to answer! Coachella is of course on that list just to be able to say it. But ever since I saw a DVD of Bryan Adams at Slane Castle in the early 2000’s… man that would be something else.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

If I would be making a list it would be a long one, haha! But if I’d have to choose one?

I think it would be David Bowie, just because. The man never stopped exploring and was forever changing it up until his much to early passing.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

At the moment, I’m working on releasing a new single with a ”seasonal touch” since we’re heading for Christmas with a rapid pace. Other than that, I’m just blown away by the positive my debut EP has gotten and I’m focusing on it getting it out even further!

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

I’m hoping new listeners will discover that my music speaks from the heart, and to their hearts.
