AIgorythm is where artificial intelligence meets human soul. What is your earliest memory connected to music?
I remember being fascinated by both traditional and electronic instruments. I spent hours listening to melodies from old vinyls and trying to reproduce them on my first small keyboard. My earliest real obsession was saving every bit of money I had to buy a Roland MT-32 – later upgraded to the Roland U-110, which was a dream machine for me back then. That sound shaped everything that came after. Then with an Atari and Cubase, I spent a lot of time creating music and playing in midi.
How did your passion for creating music begin?
It started with curiosity – I’ve always been drawn to how sound can tell stories without words. I loved combining traditional instruments like piano with less conventional or synthetic ones, experimenting with tones and layers. Even when I didn’t have the voice to sing my own songs, I kept writing them, waiting for the moment technology would catch up with imagination.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
AIgorythm (also known through the alias Camila Moreno) is a project that blurs the line between human emotion and artificial creation. The songs are built from real feelings but expressed through digital voices. The lyrics are about 90% written by me [human], while the vocals are 100% AI-generated. The music itself is a 50-60% hybrid – half human, half machine. It’s not about hiding the technology, but about exploring what happens when emotion and algorithms meet.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
It’s cinematic, electronic, and emotional – a mix of human warmth and synthetic clarity. Imagine a heartbeat translated into code, or an algorithm dreaming about love. There’s rhythm, melancholy, and light all at once. Lyrics are perhaps the most important for me
and it takes much more to write lyrics than to imagine the melody. The best gift I received was for one of my song about a fictive grandmother. A good friend told me that she cried listining my song, thinking of her own story.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music? That imperfection is beautiful – even when it comes from a machine. AI can generate
perfectly tuned voices, but what gives meaning is the human intention behind them. The blend of precision and imperfection is where the art truly happens.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process? I still use analogic sounds and records with modern AI tools for voice generation. I love
keeping a bridge between the past and the future.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
My music is multi-genre. Kamila Moreno’s (behind the project) genre is reggaeton. I’m European and live in a Latin Culture, so my genres are very differents, from indie to Buddah Bar, from salsa to romantic balads, from tango to Andean music. In fact, I do the music I like and because I love all these genres, I do them. There is an artist that I really like, Let Babylon Burn. I love his (real) voice and his music is based on AI.
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision? Even though the voice you hear isn’t human, the stories are. Every track comes from a
moment, a thought, or a memory. Technology just gives me the freedom to express them without limitation. I always wanted to sing, but never had the voice. Now, I finally can – through another kind of instrument. But what I really love is poetry and inspirative lyrics; so the music is the best way for me to transmit a message through words.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work? I hope they feel both closeness and mystery. My songs are about identity, connection,
and transformation – about how technology can amplify rather than erase humanity. I want people to feel that AI can be soulful too.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
That creation doesn’t belong to one shape, one gender, or one voice. It’s energy that passes through us, sometimes through circuits and code. What matters is the emotion that remains.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
Sonar Festival in Barcelona, or maybe Coachella’s electronic stage – places where innovation and emotion coexist. A show that merges live visuals, AI-generated voices, and human improvisation would be the perfect way to share this universe.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why? Probably Björk or Daft Punk – both explored the future before the rest of us caught up.
They understood that technology isn’t the opposite of feeling, it’s another language for it.

To make the project even more immersive – maybe blending AI visuals, virtual performances, and new voices. I want to keep exploring the emotional side of artificial creation, until the listener forgets whether it’s human or machine.
