What is your earliest memory connected to music?
I remember being a kid, sitting in the backseat of my parents’ car while they blasted country radio on long drives. I didn’t know what the songs were really about, but I could feel them. Even back then, I knew music had the power to say things you didn’t have words for.
How did your passion for creating music begin?
I picked up a guitar as a teenager and realized I could express things I’d never say out loud. Eventually, music became more than a hobby—it became how I survived some of the hardest seasons of my life, especially during my battle with addiction. Songwriting gave me purpose. It gave me direction.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
My newest single, So Amazing, is about a real moment in my life—a chance connection that came out of nowhere, but stuck with me long after. It’s not a typical love song where two people ride off into the sunset. It’s about how even one unexpected night can stay with you forever. I love writing about real-life emotions—the ones that, good or bad, leave a mark.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
Think Ed Sheeran and Dan + Shay had a baby. Acoustic-pop with a country heart. Emotional, melodic, and built on storytelling.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
Honesty wins. For a long time, I tried writing what I thought people wanted to hear. The second I started telling the truth—my struggles, my faith, my family, my past—people connected with it in a way I never expected.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
An acoustic guitar, my voice memo app, and a quiet room at night. Most of my songs start as late-night thoughts that turn into melodies before I even realize I’m writing.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
Kezia Gill. Incredible storyteller, powerhouse voice, and she’s as real as they come.
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
My entire career is built on second chances. I’m in recovery, and I promised myself that if I got another shot at life, I’d use music to help other people feel less alone. I write about love, family, redemption, and the moments that change us—because those are the things that saved me.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
Hope. Even when life falls apart, even when you feel unworthy or broken—there is always a way forward. If someone listens to my music and feels like they’re not alone, that’s success to me.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Your past doesn’t disqualify you from your future. Sometimes the messiest chapters become the most powerful part of the story.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
The Grand Ole Opry. That stage holds so much history—and so many artists who changed the world through storytelling. Standing in that circle would be incredible.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Ed Sheeran. He writes with honesty, simplicity, and heart—plus he can captivate 80,000 people with just a guitar. That’s the kind of artist I aspire to be.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?
I want to take this music to bigger stages, reach more people, and keep proving that independent artists can build something real without giving up who they are. I’d love to tour with the artists who inspired me and grow this community across the world.
What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?
That I’m real. I’m a dad, a husband, a guy who made mistakes, and a guy who never gave up. Every song is a piece of my story—and hopefully, a piece of theirs too.
