This Belgium rock band is promising with its quality and innovative sound. Its musical style is an edgy mix of inside alt, hard, pop and metal rock. This top-notch production is quite extraordinary and showcases the talent of this eclectic group.
A portentous combination of instruments, such as the guitar, with spectacular riffs, bass, keyboard and percussion (heavy drums), together with throaty vocals are present in this outstanding track. The sound is instantly recognisable, the gritty vocals lending strength, energy and emotion to what is a strong passionate song.
Talking deeper about the song Be someone, it comes from the LP Desire. The whole conveys a message of love and attraction, or undeniable passion and how the union between two people cannot be denied, slowed or taken off course.
I was pleasantly surprised by the mysterious way the band conveys its message, above all with the voice and tones. It will keep you coming back for more, as each listening adds another layer of meaning, another depth of understanding of the message. It makes for compelling listening.
The band may well be on tour this summer – more information on their website: https://adolphin.be/ – and if you get a chance to see them live, this should not be missed. While I would definitely recommend listening to this particular song as it gets you in a good mood from the very beginning, the whole album deserves the attention of the discerning listener. It’s totally spectacular and extremely powerful. Don’t lose out!
