Last 11th November the talented indie rock music UK chart-topper Rob Lea beautifully presented us with his latest new fresh upbeat track Time of my life, the fourth single released this successful 2022 year for him. After his appearance on the show Starstruck, he was signed to legendary US label WBA Records to write and record his own music. This year he obtained support and recognition from outlets such as the Daily Star, Earmilk, Mundane Magazine, Yorkshire Evening Post and the Blackpool Gazette. Without doubt he will have more international recognition performing this new single.
This original song is very personal for the singer who makes a constant effort to create a better life for himself and his family. He realises how fleeting time is, and therefore, he tries harder to have that time to enjoy life.
Another aspect of the song which deserves mention is his impressive performance. He gives this song a unique feel thanks to good accordance, rhythm, vocal strength and using the guitars, vocals, drums in the most effective way. The track has sheer musical quality and this makes it musically memorable in many ways: it’s just about great music. Apart from that, he projects a positive energy and confidence with his lyrics. From fresh summer jams to funky rock music Rob Lea can transition from genre to genre and still manage to wow you.
To sum up, I feel that The Time of My Life is by far the best track he put out this year. Personally, I rank it amongst the greatest British songs of all time. If you have not heard it yet, make sure you do not miss it. The truth is people’s tastes are personal and hard to guess but this superb track will not leave anybody indifferent. This is a recent earworm that you cannot get out of your head! In my humble opinion, from now on, a performance from him unaccompanied by the music of this song is a bland one indeed.
If you want to see him live, coming soon he will be on tour with his band, Majesty, performing in iconic venues across the UK and also in international theatres and festivals. This multi-talented act is set on winning hearts of music lovers everywhere. The skilled musician regularly tops the bill at his festivals where his fans make him feel so welcome, he never disappoints and crowds sing along to his tracks. I am sure it will be a huge success as the previous performances have been epic because he owned the stage.
