Daniele Carmosino is an italian composer, music producer and sound designer.
He was part of the early Italian hip-hop* scene of the 90’s where he got in touch with the first samplers
and the first computer sequencers. But his music training started in London (University of Arts,
University of Westminster). While at University he released music under the name Piano B, featuring singers and musicians from the local reggae, urban and dub scene. He then won and completed a year-long scholarship in Italy, in the Music Department of Fabrica (The Benetton Group’s Centre for
Research and Communication), after which he applied his skills at Ferdinando Arnò’s Milan music
production facility, Quiet, Please! As an in house musician, sound designer and musical consultant.
In 2009 he founded Danca, music production and record label. Since then he’s been working and living in London, New York, Milan and Barcelona. He has also been releasing albums as Daniele Carmosino, making classical music with electronic manipulation. He is also behind the main composer and producer of Freedust (vintage grooves with a contemporary twist) and Skyways* (cinematic urban
pop).
