What is your earliest memory connected to music?

Reply My first time listening music on a gramophone record from my dad.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

Reply It started when the commodore 64 came on the market, that was the first computer i started making music with

What’s the story behind your current music project?

Reply I/we have many projects out there, but for me an important one is Simon C, its partly AI, we are always honost on that, but lots of instruments etc we add our selfs. As Simon C is a side-project we dediced to donate 10% of the proceeds to Warchild, seeing what all is happening in the world, we can all help a little by doing so.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

Reply From origan i am a trance producer, was always under contract with Spinnin Records. But as i am a educated musician is like lots of other styles. As long as i comes from the soul and i get emtional touched by a song i love it.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Reply Less is more. If the basic idea does not affect you, you can add as much as you want, i wont work. If the basic idea does affect you, dont add too much as it may distract the basic idea making it less strong.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Reply I work with Cubase 15 atm, VST’s like, Ominsphere, Kontakt, Nexus, Sylenth, i think i almost have them all.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Reply That will have to be the Artic Monkeys☺

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Reply Follow your feeling, If you feel a track, it affects me, almost every time it works for the rest of the people. Follow your heart and listen to it, that concerns the music but also the focus on the music, dont let you get distracted by other people when they see you have succes and they try to get  a piece of the action, keep focussed.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

Reply Just listen it, and hopefully people feel the same as i do when listening it. Music is emotion, a universal language understood by everyone.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Reply Trust your own feeling, that’s a basic instict that rarely misleads you.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Reply I don’t dream about that, in the past i played at NatureOne, Mayday, Sensation, Trance Energy, E-Lake, Sunrise, almost all, so i have been there, it was fantastic but now a days i prefer to do my studio job, take care of the family and spend more time with them.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Reply For me i don’t have any favorites, we are all just people, famous or not, for me more the music counts, if i am affected by a song, a new artist unknow, i would say, maybe do a remix of it, famous or not, it does not matter for me, it’s the music/song that’s what it is about.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

Reply I have a dream yes: My dream is this one: As we are working on Simon C. these days on a Symphonic EP, releasing it in Autumn, i am dream of a live concert with symphonic orchestra combinated with AI singer Simon C, and real choir, where Simon C is a hologram (like ABBA did in London). This dream comes from my past, as i was a proffesional conductor of several Orchestra’s those days, i think that would be an amazing conclusion to my career; it ends where it all began.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

Reply They people notice and feel that i always put my soul and emotion in the music, as much as i can.
