INTERVIEW QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

What is your earliest memory connected to music?

My earliest memory is asking my family for a vinyl record (a 33 rpm) as a gift, instead of asking for a toy. I was 7 years old.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I have always struggled to express myself due to deep shyness. The only way I could really do it was through writing, and that is how I started writing song lyrics.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

I wanted to pay tribute to Madonna, who was the idol of my youth. Plus, I love trip-hop, soft atmospheric music, and whispered vocals. So, I decided to create my own personal version of Where Life Begins

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before? Delicate and meditative.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

That you have to believe in yourself, regardless of what others tell you. You mustn’t conform; you need to have your own style, because your uniqueness is your strength.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

I don’t use any particular instruments. Sometimes, I just like to use a bit of reverb to enhance my whispered vocal style.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

There isn’t one specific artist at the moment. I am generally drawn to those who don’t conform and who stand out from the crowd.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Most of what I write is autobiographical. I like to express my emotions through the way I write and sing my music.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

Definitely vulnerability and authenticity.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Music allows you to express your emotions and ideals in a constructive and meaningful way, and it makes you experience excitement and enthusiasm in a healthy way.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

I would actually prefer an intimate venue with a small, niche audience. I’d rather be appreciated and understood by just a few people who truly value you for who you are.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

I really like Mario Venuti. He is Sicilian like me, I’ve seen him in concert several times, and I’ve even covered one of his songs, so I would love to collaborate with him. He is a wonderful artist and a simple, down-to-earth person. And I prefer simple people, just like myself.

Where can our listeners follow and support your music? (Website, Spotify, IG, links) This is my Spotify page:

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey? To write unreleased original songs that can represent who I am in the best possible way.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

An authentic person with her own vulnerabilities, who tries to express herself through music and carries forward her ideals and beliefs without conforming, but always staying true to herself.
