1. My earliest memory connecting to music is hard to remember lol. My dad was a musician so I remember him introducing me to music and instruments at a very young age but I could never fully get into it until I get older but there are a couple of baby videos of me playing with a small toy guitar haha.

2. How my passion for music really began was when I was 13. I actually wrote our song ‘Home’ about the story. I was driving to school one day with my family and my dad recognized a song and turned up the radio. The song was Black Dog by Led Zeppelin. I had never heard anything like that before and it absolutely blew my mind. From that point I decided I wanted to learn guitar.

3. The Reckless officially began with me during COVID. I had nothing better to do and started to just work on something I loved. As COVID began to wind down I tried to find band members and was able to get a few friends to help me record my 1st album. Those friends had other projects at the time though and couldn’t commit. It took quite a while to get a solid core together. The current, established Reckless probably began when we got our guitarist John. He was the last piece that really helped us not focus on finding new members and focus on creating music and playing shows. We got him in fall of 2024. So about 3 years after the 1st iteration of The Reckless began.

4. I would describe our sound as Hard Rock that ventures into Alternative. It is hi-energy, powerful, melodic, and electric. We don’t try to put ourselves in a box though as we are always open to new sounds and trying different things in rock music. We have songs like OBLIVION which is a very hard rock/punk anthem that rages against those in power and we have songs like our newest one, Take My Time, which is a more upbeat, happy song, that talks about enjoying the moment and remembering to take your time in enjoying what you’ve worked so hard for.

5. Oh that’s hard. I would say it’s really hard to learn to try and remain critical yet also accepting of how a song sounds. If you are listening to a song over and over and it’s just not hitting, maybe something is missing. Really try and nail down what that is so you can focus on it and why that particular sound is missing or there. Also when you are first starting out; you are on your own timetable so don’t rush things if you don’t need to.

6. We are no experts on the software end of music creation. I just use garageband with a scarlett solo to create demos and then we perfect the song in band practice and then bring it to our producer/engineer.

7. Out in Front, The Anti Groupies, Ritz Vanity are some of our favorites that we have personally worked with or talked to. I would definitely check them out! Great people too.

8. I form all of my lyrics based on my personal experiences, emotions, or beliefs. They vary from song to song. I’m a very political person so a lot of our songs have to do with the political climate and some of the horrible things that are happening in our current environment. Songs like Away, OBLIVION, and GO ON, all have to do with this topic. At the same time I sing a lot about stress and about my mental state and my impact on this world. I’ve suffered from anxiety and depression for quite some time so I use songwriting as a way to talk about my feelings in a healthy way. Remember me, What Could I Give, and My Life are all examples of this. I also talk about having fun (By The Hand), relationships (Only One), badass women and how we love them (Darling Please) and many other topics. It’s whatever I’m feeling. Those emotions also influence the vibes of the songs as a whole

9. It all depends on the song they listen to. I want the listener to have the song speak to them. I’ve had plenty of friends tell me what my songs meant to them and they had nothing to do with what I was writing about haha but I don’t really care. I don’t want to force the listener to feel a certain way. I do feel that my lyrics and the vibes of the song kinda speak for themselves but I want people to use our music as a release for whatever they are feeling, whether they want to party or just sit and vibe. As long as those feelings aren’t evil or harmful haha.

10. Unfortunately, probably patience haha. I’m not the most patient person in the world and this industry can be extremely demoralizing at times but I want this to be my life and I can’t rush or force success so I have to stay steady and be ready for anything while working my ass off any way that I can.

11. There are a couple. Aftershock, Wembley Stadium, Coachella, Warped Tour. All would be amazing

12. It changes regularly but right now I would love to write and play a song with Haley Williams. She is awesome!!! That would be something amazing to work with her.

13. Just follow this linktree. All of our links are there https://linktr.ee/admin/links?

14. We want to be one of the biggest bands in the world. We want to tour across the world. We want people to find a song off our upcoming album that really speaks to them and we want to be the reason the next big artist gets started on music!

15. The most important thing to us is when you become a fan of The Reckless we are a fan base of fun, respect, and love for your fellow man. At every Reckless show you should feel welcome and as long as you are being respectful to others you will have the time of your life and meet like-minded people ready to rock out!
