Autoregressive Brainfog Consortium explores how patterns, rhythms, connections—and a dry sense of humor—shape our lives. The album Normalized Deviations invites listeners into a retro-inspired soundscape where emotion, irony, and resilience meet. Each track is crafted to make you pause, think, feel and perhaps smile.

What is your earliest memory connected to music?

Watching Pink Floyd’s Live at Pompeii as a child. When Roger Waters struck the giant gong, I realized music could be cosmic, mysterious—and sometimes, the most dramatic moments involve hitting things very slowly.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

Learning piano from my grandmother showed me music could be both structure and freedom. Creating small pieces became a way to explore what words couldn’t reach—and to sneak in a musical joke now and then.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

ABC is about the subtle ways we connect—through patterns, pulses, and presence. Rhythm and simplicity is central, and if you listen closely, you’ll catch a wink or two in the arrangements.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

Retro-tinged, cinematic, and a bit unpredictable. Analog synths, electronica, and rhythm that’s sometimes subtle, sometimes bold. If you expect a straight line, you’ll probably find a zigzag.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Music—and life—isn’t about chasing constant happiness. Development and strength come from standing in discomfort, and sometimes, the only way through is to laugh at it—preferably in a minor key.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Logic Pro X, hardware synths, at times cassette samples, and piano. Sometimes I add a sound just to see if anyone notices.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Highasakite for atmosphere, Daft Punk for structure. Priya Ragu, Moyka, and Sophie and the Giants bring fresh energy and emotional depth—and they know how to keep things fun.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Music isn’t just melody—it’s about stirring emotion. Rhythm moves the listener from thought to feeling. If my music makes you laugh at life’s absurdity, that’s a bonus.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I hope listeners pause, reflect, and sense there’s more beneath the surface. If you smile at a lyric or sound that shouldn’t be there, you’re on the right track.

 What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Connection comes from facing discomfort. Rhythm is often the first step toward awareness—and sometimes, the best rhythm is the one that catches you off guard.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Lido Berlin—indie credibility, retro cinema vibes, and a garden stage. The kind of place where underground magic happens and secrets are safe.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Ingrid Helene Håvik, Priya Ragu or Moyka. They bring energy, depth, and would probably appreciate a well-timed musical joke.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

To dive deeper into connection—evoke emotion, reveal tension, and create space for reflection. Rhythm will be the heartbeat, and humor will sneak in wherever possible.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

That my music is a space to feel, reflect, connect—and occasionally laugh. If someone sits with a hard emotion a little longer, or finds humor in the unexpected, then ABC has done its job.
