Formula Indie Sessions _ Interview with Antonio Pedone

My name is Antonio Pedone. I don’t come from a perfect path, I come from real life. I’ve lived love, loss, mistakes, and starting over from zero. Music became the only place where I could turn everything I felt into something real. This project is not just music — it’s my truth.
What is your earliest memory connected to music?
My earliest memory is music making me feel something I couldn’t explain. Even before understanding lyrics, I felt emotions through sound. That feeling never left me.
How did your passion for creating music begin?
It started when I realized that keeping everything inside was destroying me. I needed a way to express what I was living. Music became that outlet — a way to turn pain, love, and confusion into something powerful.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
My current project comes from a very intense period of my life. Love that wasn’t simple, choices that weren’t easy, and moments that changed me deeply. Every track is a piece of that story. It’s not fiction — it’s lived.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
Emotional, direct, and honest. My sound is a mix of melody and raw feeling. It’s not just something you listen to — it’s something you feel.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
That perfection doesn’t matter. Truth does. The moment I stopped trying to sound perfect and started being real, everything changed.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
My voice, my emotions, and the right vibe. Technology helps, but the real tool is what I feel in that moment.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
I’m inspired by artists who are not afraid to be themselves, who bring emotion before everything else.
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
Everything I’ve lived is inside my music. Love, mistakes, second chances. I don’t separate life from music — they are the same thing for me.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
I want people to feel understood. To feel that they’re not alone in what they’re going through. If someone listens to my music and feels something real, then I’ve done my job.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
That being vulnerable is not weakness — it’s strength.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
A place where people don’t just listen, but feel. Where there’s a real connection between me and the audience.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Someone who puts emotion first. Because music without emotion is just sound.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?
To grow, to reach more people, and to stay real no matter what. I don’t want to become perfect — I want to become true.
What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?
That I’m not just making music — I’m telling a story. And maybe, in that story, they’ll find a piece of themselves.
