Formula Indie Sessions _ Interview with Scharf

What is your earliest memory connected to music?
Actually, very early on. I started playing piano and guitar when I was only four years old. I was musical from a very young age, and music has been a big part of my life ever since.
How did your passion for creating music begin?
I learned to play musical instruments at a young age. Later, I wanted to give free rein to my creative ideas and make music myself.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
To transform experiences for everyday challenges into music and to musically reflect and convey these feelings and emotions.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music
before?
Tender, Touching and Thoughtful
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
I have learned to give myself time and to be patient when things don’t work out as hoped.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
I get most of my creative ideas while doing sports or playing the piano.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
I’m listening to the band Provinz a lot at the moment.
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
A Lot. Everything that moves me and that I have experienced, regardless of whether it is negative or positive, I try to process into music and pass on this feeling.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
I want to convey to my listeners that they are not alone. There is always hope, and in the end, things will turn out positively. And if they don’t, it’s not the end.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Music can pull you out of a deep hole and give you the strength and energy not to give up. Music also helps me process certain situations, close old doors, and open new ones.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
I’m not thinking that far ahead yet. I’m happy if my message in the song reaches my listeners and is well understood.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
I would love to write a song with Apollinium89 sometime. Her musical style is different, and she inspired me to write the song “Die Welt dreht sich schnell”.
Where can our listeners follow and support your music? (Website,Spotify, IG, links)
Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical
journey?
Just making music and have fun to do that with many emotions and life living.
What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?
Since I have not done any marketing for my music, I hope more listemeres will find me that’s why I have also set up a SoundCloud account and a linkttr.ee to share.
