listening to my dad play acoustic guitar
How did your passion for creating music begin?
probably right around when my dad would play guitar when i was young – he was also a touring sound engineer so I think that also helped the fascinating with music
What’s the story behind your current music project?
A few years ago I decided that in addition to being a songwriter and guitarist that I wanted to have my own music out in the world to share and that’s when I started learning how to produce and make tracks. It’s not only helped me get better at music production in general but also helps keep me engaged and enjoying the process more by making what I want to hear.

This has also been a tough one – I just want to make every kind of music possible but as of now it’s more of a singer-songwriter / indie-pop sound with subtle hints to country and rock haha
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
To always be open to changes and to try different things out – it always leads to something interesting and unexpected
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
a guitar and / or keyboard and something to write with for the lyrics and then when it comes to making a track i definitely need my computer and recording equipment 🙂

There are so many but right now I’ve really been digging the song stagnant by india thieriot
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
I think it’s what has shaped the “vibe” of music that resonates with me. There are usually times in my life that the music is connected with as well so it feels almost like a bookmark for whatever I was going through at a certain point in life.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
I hope that it just evokes an emotion of any kind – I’ve always had trouble answering this question but the older I get the more I’m reminded that being available to the emotions is what helps me – I’m good at putting my head down and ignoring some things that I need to address and really I need to allow myself to feel what I’m going through if I want to grow.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Trust the process
