What is your earliest memory connected to music?

Watching my Mom play in our local community band.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

First time I saw Buddy Rich on the Muppet Show.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

No real story, as a songwriter, I decided to start releasing songs from my catalog.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music  before?

Honest, not overproduced, hook-driven.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?  To write and produce from the heart, not what’s the current big thing.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?  My 1976 Takamine Acoustic guitar, a pen and notepad, and then PreSonus

Studio One, which was a game-changer.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

I am a very hook-driven writer, so any song with a great hook brings me in.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?  Connection. I write from what I’m feeling or what people close to me are going

through.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

It’s the best friend you can ever have.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

The Ryman Auditorium here in Nashville.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?  Ryan Tedder or Paul Rodgers, because they can craft amazing songs, and they

are amazing singers.

Where can our listeners follow and support your music? (Website, Spotify, IG, links)  Reply

To keep pushing myself as a singer-songwriter.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?  That I’m just a regular guy, a Husband and a Father.
