What is your earliest memory connected to music?

My earliest memories are defined by the stage I created for myself at home. The second I was home alone, I’d start singing and recording covers of my favorite songs. I’ve been obsessed with singing and seeing how I progress since before I was a teen,?a passion that actually led to me building a community of over 75,000 followers on a karaoke app! Those early years of piano lessons from age eight and singing in various choirs also gave me the musical ear to layer my own harmonies and make my vocals pop.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

It was a mix of nature and nurture. My father is an incredible singer, so music was always in the house. I actually learned English at a very young age primarily by consuming music-related content and dissecting lyrics. Between the classical training of piano and the support of my parents, I realized very quickly that music wasn’t just a hobby; it was my passion that would stay with me until the end.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

This project is my most personal milestone yet: a 5-song EP fully produced by me. Until now, I’ve always collaborated with other producers, but this time I wanted to prove I could build my own world. The story of the EP is “becoming.” It’s about moving away from home to abroad at 18, navigating life in my 20s, the bittersweetness of living far from family, heartbreaks, and the freedom of traveling to places I’d only ever seen in movies. It’s the sound of me finding my feet in a new country.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

I’d call it “vocal-driven electronic music produced with feelings.” It’s house-influenced, but with an indie heart and layers of harmonies that carry the emotional weight of the song.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

The moment I stopped trying to copy other singers and focused on my own unique songwriting was the moment my perspective shifted. I realized that my “imperfections” and my specific way of phrasing things were actually my greatest strengths. Authenticity is much more magnetic than a “perfect” imitation.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

It starts with my notebook, I still need to see my lyrics on paper. Then, it’s my room; it’s my sanctuary where I can be completely focused. Finally, my “found family” of fellow musicians who turned into friends. Our collaboration and the motivation that stems from it is the ultimate tool for my creativity.

What indie artist or song are you loving right now?

“Still Here” by Kllo. I love how it’s minimalistic yet incredibly expressive and emotional indie house. That balance is exactly what I strive for.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Moving to Belgium at 18 was a turning point. Being away from everything familiar forced me to look inward. I have quickly joined a band there as the lead vocalist where we started composing own songs during lockdown. My music became a way to find friends and create my home away from home by getting closer with people who had the same passion: music. Finding music as the safe space, made me even more connected and creative away from home:

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I want them to feel a sense of “euphoric release.” Even in a song like “Real Love,” which deals with pain and heartbreak, the house beat is there to keep you moving. I want people to feel that they can dance through their struggles and come out the other side feeling “Alive.”

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Patience and self-reliance. Learning to produce my own EP taught me that if I want a specific feeling to come across, I have the power to create it myself. You don’t have to wait for someone else to “give” you your sound.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Performing at Before Sunset Beach Club in İzmir, Turkey- my hometown would be the ultimate dream to me as it’s the perfect venue with great atmosphere and of course the beach breeze.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

I would love to work with Fred again… His ability to take raw, human moments and turn them into driving, emotional electronic tracks is exactly the kind of storytelling I admire. I think we could create something really special with my layered harmonies and his production style.

Where can our listeners follow and support your music?

You can find me on Spotify and Apple Music under Ecce. For a look behind the scenes and to see my latest journey, follow me on Instagram @Ecce.music

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

My dream is to take this EP on the road and perform it live across Europe. I want to keep growing as a female producer in the electronic space and eventually mentor other girls who want to move from “just the vocalist” to the one behind the DAW, calling the shots.
