What is your earliest memory connected to music?
it was when i joined local music group in my own town at the age of 5-6
How did your passion for creating music begin?
it started in secondary school when i used to freestyle to my friends
What’s the story behind your current music project?
BQ TAPES is my latest project it was inspired from the place I record the songs..every songs in that project was created in the boys quarters where my home studio is and also where i sleep.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
i will describe my sound as afrofusion and afro pop
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
i learnt that your favorite song as the creator is never the fans favorite.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
my rod mic, SOUND CARD an headset or speakers .Studio One and FL

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
my personal experience in lagos Nigeria really help me shape my sound
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
i want my listeners to know that hard work and consistency pays
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
patient is a key to success.put in the work rightly and wait for your time.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
i will love to host my concert one day in o2 arena (london)
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
i will say Wizkid he’s one of the major artists i look up to before discovering my own sound.
