Formula Indie Sessions _ Interview with ForseGiorgio

In this project I try to tell simple but real things, without masks. ForseGiorgio is a space where I can be myself, with my fragilities, my questions, and also a bit of irony.
The songs talk about everyday life, about small and big dreams, about moments when you feel lost but also about those when you find a bit of light again.
It’s something that grows naturally, song by song.
What is your earliest memory connected to music?
I don’t have a real “first memory” connected to music, but rather many small moments from when I was very young, when I listened to music and it stayed with me.
I definitely associated it with something fun, with playing, with life, and with my family.
How did your passion for creating music begin?
My passion for creating music started naturally, without a specific moment. At the beginning it was just a way to play with sounds. I actually started out as a DJ, but since I was already writing lyrics, I eventually began to combine the two.
Over time it became a real need, a way to express myself when I couldn’t find the right words to do it by speaking.
I realized that writing songs was a space of my own, where I could be sincere and free.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
The project was born from the desire to give clearer shape to the things I had been writing. ForseGiorgio started exactly this way: as a way to tell my story without filters, combining music and words into something that truly represents me.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
I would describe my sound as something direct and sincere, combining pop melodies with lyrics that talk about everyday life or what I’m feeling. I’m not trying to be perfect or follow a specific formula. I try instead to create an atmosphere that makes people feel understood, like a conversation between friends.
It’s a kind of pop that focuses more on emotion than on appearance.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
One of the things that really changed the way I make music was realizing that I don’t need to prove anything to anyone. At first, I tried to follow rules, structures, or expectations, but then I understood that music works best when it’s authentic. From that moment on, I started trusting my instincts more and working in a more spontaneous way, without being afraid of simplicity.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
I’d definitely say my laptop, a MIDI keyboard, an acoustic guitar, and a microphone. Software-wise, I use Apple’s Logic Pro X for recording and producing.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
Rather than mentioning some and leaving others out, I’d say that lately I’ve been drawn to indie projects that focus strongly on authenticity and songwriting. I’m especially moved by songs that don’t try to impress, but manage to be honest and direct. It’s the kind of music that feels close to you, almost as if it’s speaking about you.
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
My personal experiences are at the core of what I write. I can’t separate music from what I live every day: emotions, doubts, moments of confusion and moments of clarity naturally find their way into my songs. Rather than telling extraordinary stories, I try to give value to ordinary ones, because I believe that’s where many people can truly relate. All of this has also shaped my artistic vision, which is simple, sincere, and unfiltered.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
I hope that people who listen to my music can feel less alone. I’d like the songs to convey a sense of closeness, as if someone were saying out loud things we sometimes keep inside. I’m not trying to give answers or definitive messages, but to create a space where emotions can exist without being judged.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
The most important lesson music has taught me so far is patience. It made me understand that things need time to grow, and that not everything can or should be forced. It also taught me to accept moments of doubt and silence as part of the process, not as failures.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
I don’t have a specific place in mind, more of an idea. I’d love to play in settings where people truly come to listen, whether it’s a small theatre, a club, or an intimate festival. The real dream is to share my songs in a place where a genuine connection with the audience can happen, regardless of the size of the stage.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Rather than naming a specific artist, I’d love to collaborate with someone who puts sincerity and songwriting at the center of their work. For me, the ideal collaboration is born from a human connection before a musical one, and from a shared desire to tell something real.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?
Looking ahead, my dream for the next chapter is to keep growing without losing the honesty I started with. I’d love to continue writing and releasing music consistently, bringing it to the stage and letting it reach more and more people in a natural way. More than specific milestones, I dream of a journey that makes sense to me and stays true to who I am.
What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?
I hope they can discover a person who tries to tell his story with sincerity. I’d like them to understand that behind the music there is someone who doesn’t have all the answers, but who wants to share questions, moments, and emotions, without filters.
