What is your earliest memory connected to music?

Well, I can tell you which my first music buy was… a cassette tape by The Rockets in the late seventies as I was about 8/9 years old

How did your passion for creating music begin?

It spread out of my love for music, if you listen to a lot of music you’re going to create it one day

What’s the story behind your current music project?

My solo and acoustic-folk project has its roots in a previous band called Hop and Glory in which I did the same kind of music. The band split before recording anything so I had a bunch of songs that I like and that I wanted to record.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

I think we can talk about a quite traditional acoustic folk sound with different nuances of other genres in every single song.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Probably the discover of the incredible sound of great acoustic guitars and all the warmth and dynamics it brings

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

My acoustic guitars of course! And my MacMini with Garage Band is all I use for recording

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

There are many but I would say King Hannah and their “Big Swimmer” album.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

I don’t know exactly how but I’m quite sure that what I play is what I am, and what I am is what I’ve been through since I was born.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

First of all I hope they got good vibes from the music and its sound, then if also the lyrics could deliver something to them I think I made it right!

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

That it’s the best way to meet and become friends with special people!

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

I think there are many! One venue where I’ve been that I found really amazing was the Albert Hall in Manchester.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

It’s almost impossible for me to choose just one! But sure I’d like to have Molly Tuttle to teach me how to play guitar!
