Hi we are DEVONS a mexican rock band formed in 2022 who blends rock with indie, bolero, pop and hard rock, comprised by Luis (drums and background vocals), Robbie ( Lead vocal, guitar) and Margott (Bass).
What is your earliest memory connected to music?
Reply: To Luis when he listened to Queen the song “Under Pressure”, to Robert when he listened to AC DC for the first time and to Margott when she listened to Nirvana
How did your passion for creating music begin?
Reply: Begin when we realized that we have something to express through music, to tell ourvpersonal experiences, emotions through songs
What’s the story behind your current music project?
Reply: We were a cover band named “The Bones” who used to played classic rock songs on bars, but then we wanted to create our own music so LUIS and ROBBIE had songs that each one wrote by their own, brough it to the band and they put it togheter and recorded, then MARGOTT join the band and refresh the sound with her ideas too, and now the band name change to DEVONS when we released our first single called “Ballerina”in 2022
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
Reply: A rock band who blends warm and bright contemporary emotitivity with nostalgic sounds
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
Reply: That every chord and note that you play or sing has a vibration that affects the emotional state of the people who listen to that song
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
Reply: Drums, guitars, bass, microphone, all the equipment that all those instruments require, and we use the program Reapers to record home demos and then we go to a profesional studio to record it.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
Reply: Francesca Tarantino, a really talented singer and songwriter
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
Reply Our personal experiences are all cause thanks to it we write songs and let our emotionts flow through the music
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
Reply: Love, peace, but we talk in our songs to a wide range of emotions, from being in love in “Ballerina” to frustration to be in a toxic relationship in “Hate me Love me”
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Reply: That nowadays not so many people foccus in music they foccus more in the celebrity, but always the art and music will win to the popular celebrity.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
Reply: Glastonbury in the U.K
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Reply: From the past John Lennon, Freddie Mercury cause they are our main influences in the music, and from present could be an interesting collaboration with Billie Elish, Dua Lipa or Harry Styles cause they have good ideas and had released great songs.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?
Reply: We are going to release our first L.P in February 2026 and we are going to record our second L.P next year and our goal it´s to play in festivals and tour in North America and hope in Europe too
What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?
Reply: That all our songs are made with the heart
