What is your earliest memory connected to music?

When I was 7 years old, I was making drum sounds by my mouth while my sister was singing

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I was listening to the radio while watching music videos and I learned to play my sister’s accordion by my self

What’s the story behind your current music project?

As I am a music producer, I like and listen to many diffrenet styles of music, so I started to compose and produce chillout pop songs and called it Tone Soul, resembling my real name, Tansel.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

Its very different actually, they are chillout songs in pop form, a little ethnical with a dance vibe but having lots of influence from classical music too.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

The chord patterns determine the feeling of the song and I try to use them in a magical way

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

 I have a DAW, keyboards, accordion, copyrighted loops and samples, I use Logic and Melodyne

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

I like Bach a lot and try to use the baroque chord patterns as much as possible

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I want them to feel relaxed, emotional and connect to nature, even in faster dancable songs

 What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

It is the biggest motivation and relaxing item in life

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

I would love to perform in open air festivals with other dj s and producers

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

I always adored Donna Summer, I was producing in my dreams for her, so was extremely sorry when she passed…
