Introduction to the Project

This project is a reflection of who I am as a person—my story, my Costa Rican roots, and the values I carry. Through my music, I try to transmit love, peace, and a sense of purpose.

What is your earliest memory connected to music?

My earliest memory goes back to when I was around 3 or 4 years old. My mom was part of the church choir, and I used to join her during rehearsals. I would jump on the percussion instruments and start playing—that’s where everything began for me.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

It really started when I picked up the piano at around 15. That’s when I began writing lyrics, experimenting with chord progressions, and discovering my own voice as a creator.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

This project is an honest reflection of my life—my culture, my faith, and my personal journey. It’s about sharing messages of love, peace, and purpose with anyone who listens.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

I’d describe it as modern, full of character, and a fusion of different styles and colors.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Understanding where music is heading today helped me recognize that my work needed more space, freshness, and simplicity. Embracing minimalism has really transformed my creative process.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

I create most of my music in a small studio setup with just my laptop, audio interface, and microphone. Ableton is my go-to DAW for producing and editing.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

There are many, but I’m especially inspired by artists like Alejandro Sanz and Anderson .Paak.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

My experiences have shaped me a lot. I had the chance to tour with Danny Ocean as part of his band, and the sessions and shows we did together definitely influenced my sound and artistic growth.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I hope listeners feel that life is meaningful and that we all have a purpose. Love and peace are powerful values that can guide us every day.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Music has taught me to stay humble and not let ego get in the way.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

A world tour is the big dream. But performing at Coachella would definitely be incredible.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

I’m open to collaborating with any artist who shares similar values and good energy. That connection is what matters most.

Where can listeners follow and support your music?

You can find my music on all digital platforms under ORP.
My Instagram is @orp.music.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

To keep creating and releasing more music—growing step by step.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

More music, more ideas, and more of my evolution as an artist.
