Formula Indie Sessions _ Interview with Caba

What is your earliest memory connected to music?
My first memory is coming home from school and seeing my brother in front of the computer listening to the new songs that had come out, and I would stay there with him and listen to them.
How did your passion for creating music begin?
I went through a period of getting to know myself and discovered that making up melodies made me feel good.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
I want to show the audience who I really am and get them to connect emotionally with themselves as I did through music.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
I’m still finding my sound, but I would say that I’m quite melodic and bring freshness to the music I make.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music? Don’t be guided by trends or the music that’s popular right now; you have to make the
music that you like.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process? My NT1-A microphone, my Universal sound card, and FL Studio.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
Fuel Fandango
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision? A lot, almost everything I write is based on personal experiences, as I believe that is the
most authentic way to make music.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work? We can all become our best selves and turn bad experiences into valuable lessons.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
I must be very patient to reach the level I desire.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at? Coliseo de Puerto Rico
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Don Omar, because he is the king of reggaeton.
