EYUN – Introduction of the project

What is your earliest memory connected to music?

My earliest memory is when my dad was in a band and would always have band practice in the basement and I was always there listening, jamming, and dancing to all the songs they were playing.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

My passion  began back at the end of high school when I realized how connected to music I felt and thought I wanted to create this same feeling for other people.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

My current music project is a mix of a couple of genre’s but all EDM focused and releasing close to 1 song a month for all of 2026. Big year for Eyun!

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

My sound is very moment based and create the vibe of happy, dancing, and all around good vibes is the sound I go for. Genre doesn’t matter when you’re dancing.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

I have learned to just keep it simple. The more you get lost in all of the small details, which are very important, it can take away from the initial reason you wanted to create music in the first place. Follow the vibe, not the trends.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Ableton and Serum. I start most songs with chord progressions and build off of there and have a strong lead melody. I love catchy melodies.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

I love Elderbrook, Surf Mesa, and Mason Young

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

They have had a strong impact and influence with being so involved in the music scene for so long, I have grown to see what I like and what I don’t like. Seeing certain branding or musical choices from other artists made me realize what I need to stay true to.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I hope they take away feeling better than they did before. I want them to feel as I do, they stop and restart the song before it is even over so they can feel the song again and embed themselves into the moment it provides.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Music has taught me that it is a universal language. Genre doesn’t matter when you’re dancing. Just have fun with life, it’s too short to care about the little things.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Ultra Music Festival

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Skrillex or Zedd. I absolutely love their music and such detail to production.

My dream is to have my music start reaching more and more people in 2026 and start the foundation to a strong fanbase who just love music like I do!

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

I hope they discover that I am who I am. I love music and dancing and being weird and those are the fans I hope to attract.
