What is your earliest memory connected to music?

There was always music in our house, both my parents had lovely singing voices. My father had a bunch of old cassettes and tape recorders.I used to listen to them everyday even though i was more interested in sports those days. But my interest of music started when i started learning piano since i’m 6 years old. For a few years, my mother took me to our town’s musical festivals.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

For me, music  is the only way I feel alive. It is the way I feel worthwhile as a person. Music is the love of my life..Nature is always inspiring me  for creating music..And of course listening to different genres of music from around the world would inspire me sometimes to make music .I had an arranging keyboard back then, which i used to make music in my early days.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

I’m the only Indian musician doing pop songs in multiple Indian regional languages.

So that’s my main motivation for my new project.I would love to blend international pop music with Indian music

.How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

when I started learning and listening to western  music , which gave me a different dimension about music and completely changed the way i make music.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Apart from a singer, I’m a pianist too.So being an instrumentalist I will  program and produce songs by myself. I produce music  in logic software frequently.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Right now, a sufi music composition by nusrat fateh ali khan.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Music has definitely influenced my life. Learning music and studying music in school has influenced my life as well.Yes, music is a form of peace because it can promote inner calm through relaxation and emotional connection. And i feel without music life would be a mistake!

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

The same feelings that I put into a track when I create it.I just hope they enjoy it and it makes them feel something. And i’m truly grateful for that.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

Music taught me to keep going with the flow. It taught me to pause breath and then keep moving. No matter what .. the show must go on.And finally patience is the most important lesson that i learned from music.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

I would love to perform my songs worldwide. There is no specific stage for that matter.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

I would always prefer  to perform my songs as a solo artist. But would love to collaborate with the best instrument players in the world.
