What is your earliest memory connected to music?

One of my earliest memories goes back to when I was about three years old. My mother was preparing for Christmas, I stood beside her in a little apron while we made dough together, and on the radio the song “Yellow Submarine” by the Beatles was playing. I fell in love with that moment and with music ever since.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

I always knew I could write stories, fairy tales, joyful or emotional poems. One day I tried how my writing would sound in music — and it worked instantly. That was the moment I understood: I am a lyricist at heart, and writing is my true instrument.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

My current work is guided entirely by the soul. My motto is: “I write from the soul, by faith.” When I hear a melody, I can instantly write lyrics to it — whether it’s a summer ice‑cream song, winter stories, children’s songs, family Christmas music or deeper spiritual themes. I follow the emotion, the moment and the inspiration.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

My sound is always emotion‑driven: soft, storytelling, lyrical, warm and family‑centered. Whatever I feel in the moment, I try to express honestly so that listeners can connect with the emotion behind the music.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

I learned that we must believe — in ourselves, in opportunities, and in the power of sharing emotions. For many years my writings stayed in a drawer, until I realized that music can reach people’s hearts. Belief and trust changed everything for me.

What tools or instruments are essential in your creative process?

I always need something to write on — a phone note, a piece of paper — because when inspiration arrives, I must capture it instantly. Writing is my instrument.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

I am especially inspired by contemporary artists who create with emotional depth and authenticity, particularly a Hungarian artist, V. Viktor, whose sincerity and artistic freedom I greatly admire.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music?

My life, childhood, joys, pains, faith and love all shaped me as an artist. Everything I experienced has found its way into my writing, because I always express the emotion I carry at that moment.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

For children, I hope my fairy‑tale world opens a door of innocence and wonder. For families, I hope my songs help them celebrate moments together. For adults, I hope my deeper spiritual songs bring comfort, light and emotional richness. And for young listeners, I hope my upbeat songs bring joy and fun.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you?

That reaching people’s hearts through melody and words is one of the greatest gifts in the world. Music allows me to communicate without boundaries — across languages, identities and distances.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Although I work behind the scenes at festivals, my dream is simple: wherever my music can reach people and touch their hearts, that is already a perfect stage for me.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

I would choose an artist who creates with genuine soul and freedom — someone who remains sincere and human even on big stages. As a Hungarian, I am inspired by artists from my home country, and I had the chance to meet V. Viktor a few times. Each encounter showed the same honest artistic humility, and I truly admire his talent. Working with such authenticity would be beautiful.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

I hope that when someone reads this interview or hears my music, something inside them says: “Yes, I would like to listen to her, I would like to connect with her.” If my songs make people feel close to me in a genuine, human way, I have achieved what matters most.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

My dream is simple: to reach more people — and not only reach them, but truly touch their hearts. If my music brings comfort or joy to someone, then my journey already has meaning.

Where can listeners follow and support your music?

Listeners can find my music on all major platforms under the name Editina. My YouTube Official Artist Channel features my songs, children’s stories and animations, and I am also present on Spotify, Apple Music and all major streaming services. I’m deeply grateful for everyone who listens or supports my journey.

I would also love to share one of my English Christmas songs. I chose this piece because I wish all listeners a blessed Advent and a warm, heartfelt season of waiting and light.
